Someone tell me if this is better or worse than Parakeet
git commands I run before reading any code:
git rm -rf .
I just completed an 18 month travel sabbatical with my wife - would this be useful to catalog and cluster all of our photos based on geolocation and prompt us to collect memories?
this blog post sounds like an LLM - and of course it was written by one (as admitted in the end).
More and more people are more cognizant of their alcohol consumption, and like calories - it can be hard to eyeball them compared to the "standard unit" (14g alcohol).
I build an iOS app (https://quenchai.app) that uses a carefully constructed Multimodal LLM workflow to convert photos to standard drinks and track consumption over time.
Did you know a standard margarita is ~2.5 standard drinks and a light beer is ~0.8?
This is an absolutely ridiculous claim, it's very clear that you have never met anyone with an allergy (or cared to ask someone about their experience if you have)
I assume they are talking about the other QFC on Broadway (north of the Pike St one)
Wow yeah, you nailed it! Government debt is directly related to programs like this, and this was probably the lion's share of the expenditure!
Consumption decisions made by individuals will never solve this problem, as it is more of a problem with labor/industrial regulation and corporate governance.
This is borderline antagonistic. Do you think that the majority of lower-income people who do not have large savings are in this situation due to disproportionately high discretionary spending?
Antifa is an umbrella term. From Wikipedia:
Antifa is not an interconnected or unified organization, but rather a movement without a hierarchical leadership structure, comprising multiple autonomous groups and individuals
No live streaming. I wonder if this is purposefully specific.
This is absolutely untrue. "Organic" is a regulated term by the USDA, requiring verification from an accredited certifying agency.
Thanks for this. Just opened a support case to delete my account.

This is a misconception. They are not "like the rest of us", in that they are a publicly traded corporation with a legal obligation to chase shareholder value above all else. "We" are private individual citizens.
Love the ReviewMeta (website or chrome extension) for exactly this. It gives a computed "true score" based on some of the dimensions you mention above. (I am not in any way affiliated with this product)
Not certain on this, but I think Azure is known to have more compliance certifications. This is probably largely due to the long relationships Microsoft has with government organizations etc.
Honest question: what stores have this quality? I find that other than local or high-end/"boutique" stores (with much higher prices), I do not have the same experience.
This is a strange comment, to me.
What should they have done? Reached out to the family of the anonymous follower? What does the "popular Instagram influencer" owe to someone who enjoys his/her photos?
SNS is meant to mean SN's, or "screennames". This (now-outdated) term refers to messenger accounts (AIM/ICQ) in the pre-Facebook world.
Yes, and this is commonly documented and reported behavior from many first-person accounts of inner-city drug dealers.
It seems like you are implying that because they might be obfuscating a hypothetical "source" that the findings are invalidated. What would you have the author do, instead?
100% agree. This type of dualistic thinking is one of the reasons common political discourse in the US is so unproductive. There are (almost) no simple black/white answers to anything, and the devil is usually in the (grey) details.

Serious question: where do you draw the line? At what point does life stop being a personal experience between life and death and start becoming a min-maxing of maximal utility on the planet?
While I totally understand your point, I think that the associated value judgment (you are weak if you value your own happiness over that of others) is misguided. Is strength to be solely associated with selfless altruism? What is the end-game of this ethic?
Here's what I don't understand. You are trying to convince someone that they are being "callously indifferent to the suffering of others" by telling them that "their utility is correlated with the utility of a poor person". Sounds like you both seem to have comparable goals, just that you believe that your "way" of accomplishing the goal is superior (i.e. help others to help yourself, rather than just helping yourself)
I'm sorry for the situation you describe. For what it's worth, the downvotes (I did not downvote you) are due to HN's insistence on comments that are productive/on topic.
This is a common misconception. Advertising does not need to be hidden to "work". Advertising is not just facebook ads (which you admit to clicking, although not as regularly as your dad), but also involves creating positive sentiment for a brand or product over time through techniques like mere exposure.
I Wwnt to preface that I do understand where you are coming from, and spent many years agreeing with the sentiment that you pose, but over time came to realize that I was mistaken and had an oversimplified view of what makes the advertising industry tick.
In the interest of discussion: do you think that most people are too lazy/ignorant to ignore ads like you and your friends do?
