EU here, things seem pretty good here.

* I ordered 20kg of oranges from sicily, no shipping costs, arrived in 2days

* Coffee, same thing

* a bass guitar, same

* groceries are delivered in a day from local shops

* for electronics i bought from many shops, usually takes ~1week. still OK for a washing machine or those big items

...seems that "the infrastructure" that amazon required for ups/dhl/* are being used by any other (even tiny) buisiness.

My only complain is Ikea. Ikea doesn't cooperate.

I use linux... yes it works as a standard 5 mouse buttons, but there is no software for gestures or thumb scroll. Windows has those. Linux will probably never have anything like that

(thumb gesture-button seems to trigger KeyPress Meta+TAB, binding it seems not-so-easy)

problems are quite interesting (after initial days, those are usually trivial)

e.g. once in 2017 you had problem1: implement an interpreter for this asm-like language. ok, 5 instructions, super easy. ...problem2, run this asm-like program. You couldn't, it was 10^n iterations, would take days. You had to read, understand and optimize the asm-like code.

non-world-class: doing <30" one handed is very doable, anyone can do less than 1 min (yes, if you know how to solve and you trained one handed. ofc not if you never solved a cube in your life)
