I have been using ed for decades now, because it is the standard.

If this is true, it is truly horrible: know someone at google and just sink the competition in one fell swoop. Although one has to say that serving via http certainly is not helping.

About the shortcomings of the Wireless Emergency Alerts system, apparently cable connections to cellular towers are not buried in Hawaii and some burned and so the alert did not get through everywhere.
