My take is that that there is no way to prove conclusively the existence nor the nonexistence of an afterlife. So each person makes a decision (bet). At the end of this life, we each find out if we were right or not. Well, technically, if there is an after life, we would find that out. If not, we don't find anything out, do we?

In case you're open to suggestions, being able to adjust the Pomodoro duration would be awesome. The traditional 25 minutes always seemed a little too short for me.

Don't be too jealous. My main concern with Node and its ecosystem is maturity and security. It loses hands down on both those points compared Ruby / Rails especially in the area of dependencies.

Yeah, I should have been more explicit. When I say build secure applications, I imply the full stack including infrastructure. I updated my comment accordingly.
Is there a course (or set of courses), books or other learning material you recommend for web developers to get to a competent level in terms of building, deploying and maintaining secure applications (including infrastructure)?

Drag and drop an item from Finder to the terminal and it expands to its full path. Not sure if Linux does something similar as I'm not a regular user.
I don't see any vilification in that question.
I would also add to this that if there does exist an eternal existence after one's death [1], then it is infinitely rational to spend this comparatively short life finding out what the nature of that eternity is and how best to prepare for it.
[1] Which incidentally, I don't think is possible to conclusively prove nor disprove. Like most things in life, you look at the evidence and make your decision.
