Let's say a VC investor invests $500,000 into a startup, I don't think they'd be keen to know that $50,000 of it gets passed straight to you and doesn't go toward building the product.
Having said that, if it's an arrangement worked out with the VC beforehand, then it could possibly work.
If we're talking about acquisition rather than investment, then that's an entirely different matter of course.
Total agree with your second point, what scenario in life are we in where all the people we socialise with are our own exact age? If anything, homeschooled children become naturally better at socialising because they're forced to make friends with people of different ages (both younger and older).
Note: there are definitely some weirdo homeschooling families that would be an exception to this!

Actually, you'd be keeping people in prison who you know have a disregard for the law, and decide for themselves what they think is okay. They are criminals, they broke the law at the time, and as such, are people that deserve to spend time in prison.
Of course, that's a very broad way to think of it. I'm sure for this particular topic there are lots of cases of outright discrimination which means people are serving sentences for marijuana-related laws that just aren't helpful to society at all (probably detrimental).
So, you may be right regarding this particular law, however, I think it is a very dangerous precedent to simply pardon anyone who committed a crime, for which that act is now legal.
If someone believes something that's currently illegal should be made legal, there are non-anarchist ways to deal with it than simply disregarding authority and committing a crime.

I think it's more the lifestyle that coding can lead to, right? e.g. if coding leads to a lifestyle of poor exercise, sleep quality and diet, or a combination of all of those, then that can obviously lead to conditions you've mentioned above.

When that happens, it's most likely because that person has a weak immune system, correct? So what evidence do we have to say that person wouldn't have died from the next disease to come along (e.g. diarrhoea or simply catching a cold and dying from pneumonia?).

It's extremely low likelihood of death compared to other more lethal diseases. I'm pretty sure AIDS, leukemia or malaria are more lethal to children than measles is.
And as far as "the leading cause of death", diarrhoea or pneumonia are arguably the biggest cause of deaths in children.

Okay, I'm not a scientist, but I'm pretty sure that sentence is not accurate.
The percentage of people that die from measles is extremely low, and it's hard to tell if it's the disease that causes it, or simply the fact that the person was already very weak (and therefore would have died from another sickness such as complications of a cold).
Some perfectly fertile couples try for years before successfully conceiving.
If both partners are young and healthy then they should have a bun in the oven within 4 months, otherwise something is abnormally wrong.

e.g. if approval is usually needed for purchases over $500, wouldn't they have to ask for approval if they're making a purchase that's essentially going to cost $4,788 out of the annual budget (if it's a $399/mo SaaS web app)?
