If you want to lower wealth inequality I think need the non-wealthy to be able to build some wealth from income, at least up to some higher bound that currently.

100k gbp a year gets you a 2 bed flat in London, hardly super rich but each additional pound gets taxed at 60% marginal rate due to allowances being cut

There are a few PC manufacturers offering 3K laptops at least (Lenovo, Huawei when I looked). For monitors it’s nuts, just Iiyama has a 5k screen with multiple inputs (the LG has only one input so useless for switching between pc and Mac)

tmux -CC mode support? Stuck on macOS for iterm2 as that’s the only terminal that seems to have it.

Even people who are bad at their jobs are real people. We can’t assume that everyone of low intelligence or motivation is sub human. Just say agency and authority, that made your point.

I recent switched to a Mac laptop and tmux CC mode is iterm2’s killer feature. Tmux niceness without it taking a key prefix, and with real scroll bars. It’s worth the cost of a Mac!
