love the idea! I would have registered if it weren't using passkey. is there a reason you chose this for user verification? I've never used it and am hesitant to adopt technologies that give chrome more control over the browser market

I'm a novice at nginx and using modules. how do I figure out if the nginx docker images that I use are effected by this? it looks like the default image uses `debian:bookworm-slim`. is it safe to assume that the compiled version in that upstream image isn't using any additional modules?

The issues affect nginx compiled with the ngx_http_v3_module (not compiled by default) if the "quic" option of the "listen" directive is used in a configuration file.

Well written article, thanks! I think some of your critics need to look up the term "veiled criticism"

Right! I had a similar thought: the article appeared to be building to an interesting conclusion then ended abruptly... One follow-on paragraph could have easily explored autodidactic methods, through tools like youtube or open online courses, and how they have catalyzed an area of learning that previously didn't exist -- ie easy entry courseware is orthogonal learning model from the traditional education model.

IMHO, the only thing that is going to disrupt higher education in the US is a change in the federal student loan system. Otherwise, the money is going to keep flowing and those institutions will have little motivation to adapt to survive

edit:

Good article! Thanks for sharing

Im not sure why you are getting so many negative comments. For those that are interested in open source, and would be contributing to projects regardless, I think this is a great idea. Also, it sounds like a good way to distract oneself from the normal expectations/disappointment cycle of interviewing

"Doing work for free", as some others have pointed out in a negative light, is fundamental to how modern software works. If you're not contributing then you're profiting off of the minority that does...
