Actually this affects Linux users too. I tested on Elementary OS, which is a distro based on Ubuntu and uses sub-pixel font rendering. Fonts made with font combiner are more crisp and clear (but not pixelated) than the default google fonts, which are fuzzy.
I see clear difference on both Windows and Linux, your product makes the fonts more clear and sharp thus making it more readable and less fuzzy than taking fonts straight out of Google Fonts. Looks to me like a solid thing, definitely bookmarked.
A client of mine asked me at the start of the meeting; "how would you go about making a logistics application that will collect data from 300.000 different logistics companies, calculate the price based on the country the logistics company is in, and make it usable all over the world between users, agents and said companies".
My apologies on the first one, it just looked like iPhone 3 (the ugly, round backside) and assumed it was. I'm no iPad specialist.
Not at all common in Estonia, Latvia or Finland.
It's a very expensive to-do app. I know, I do the same.
In my opinion being good comes down having good ideas. You can be genius at your code, but if you have no ideas on how to use that skill to make something awesome, you're still a mediocre programmer. Therefor, if you can learn to think what would be needed or what could be done better and you have the skill to do it, then do it.
Sometimes to get anywhere, or get any recognition is to just build cool stuff, even if they won't bring you any money. Just keep building stuff on great ideas and always have quality in your work.
You're 25 man, use all the opportunities you get while you still get them. Go there, make sure if you want it or not and if you do just invite your family with you. If they don't want to come, their loss.
I did once took a job opportunity in a neighbor country where I didn't speak the language, but overall and all the experience rather changed my life in a good way not a bad way.

If you know anything of design, Elementary is not a clone nor is mimicking OSX. Or, put differently; everybody is copying everybody. If you have good enough eye sight, then you can see that the difference between OSX and Elementary is huge. Dock was used before OSX, so you can't say that's copying from OSX. The light-gray colors and clinically clean interface was also used before OSX.
I've been using Elementary Luna (beta 2) for quite some time now an I've been waiting for it ever since Jupiter, so you can say I'm pretty damn excited right now.
P.S. To the Apple lovers out there; dock was used before Mac and please go learn design and/or get contact lenses or something before you come saying it's a knock off.
