hey thanks, have heard good things about it but never tried it. :)

Why does this makes more sense over OpenCode?
I just want the sound notification when they are blocked/done.
Founder here. Formester creates forms and surveys for you and collects the data in the most seamless way possible. We've made it truly free with unlimited forms and submissions on all plans, including free.
With time we realised that 99% of people generally don't use a lot of their quota, but it stays as a mental barrier on them, and they end up using another product even when they liked what we offered.
This also helps us reach more people with the branding on the free version, so it's a win-win for everyone.
If you need team collaboration, real time multi person form filling, or auto generated PDFs, that's when you'd move to a higher plan.
We'll be monitoring this for any kind of abuse and spam, and it would be nice to know anything else we should watch out for.
Can this also be done for HIPAA and FERPA, or for those compliance requirements is the process the way to go and just filling out the questionnaire would not be sufficient?
I agree to this though it also depends on the nature of project.
Had a project idea which I coded with the help of AI and it became quite large to a point I was starting to have uncharted areas in the code. Mostly because I reviewed it too shallow or moved fast.
It was a good thing as that project never floated but if I were to do such a thing on my breadwinning project I would lose the joy.
Formester started as a side hustle but today we make $7000/month.
All I wanted was to build a good product which our users feel like using. Help them with exceptional customer service and build a team and a company worth waking up to.
You are the 5% they were talking about lol.
I started building something like this for myself and though it would be useful. I have a decent mac only working working but what you have built is great.
This one is completely open source and local, no api calls required at all. Quality can better with newer models which has to be worked on.
I'm building AI for documentation. It will answers users queries related to your product through videos, documentations and blogs. Reducing the load on customer support.
Yes we have thought about that and we have multiple solutions to that.
- webbhook triggered - when a document is updated some CMS/tool provide webhooks triggering capability, which you can use to reindex that page - time based triggers - you can set a time like a cron and the document will be scanned in that time and checked if something has changed it will be reindexed
Happy to answer more questions.
I'm building an AI for Customer Support.
Here's the summary: - read all your sources - public websites, docs, video - answer questions with confidence score and no hallucinations with citations - cut support time and even integrates directly into your customer facing chatbots like Intercom.
Still deliberating on the business model. If anyone would be interested in taking a look, I would love to show you.

I found Coolify that solved the similar problem.
With self hosting my biggest pain point is disaster and recovery management. I would like to know how do you handle it.
You are already ahead of so many of us.
The addiction to just not be free and do something is so stupid yet we are used to it.
I have seen myself keep the phone down from boredom only to pick it up a few seconds later.
BunnyCDN has been the fasted I've used on a couple of our projects. I would highly recommend.
This is so so true. I've heard something similar from my therapist as well.
I have some techniques that I use for coping. I also have ADHD so there are other overlapping challenges too.
Though I was not sure about sharing them and more importantly I still have to clearly identify them and list them out to be able to share.
It would be a good exercise and I will try to do that. Thanks for the idea.
Yes it indeed was the question asked by the Therapist and that made me realize I've not been asking that often to myself. The question made me think and made me feel uncomfortable.
So now whenever I am in a tricky situtation, I ask myself that question. It gives me more understanding of my feeling.
And once I've more grasp on it, I can tackle it better.
Yes that would be ideal but with age friends are fewer and more busy.
How are you finding customers in a space that is crowded?
We are also in a space that is similarly croweded and having a tough time being seen.
I'm building the same old boring form builder - but powering it with AI. So that form/quiz/survey building is simple and easy.
I self host this and probably the best looking and working file sharing app. Works well for me as the files are ephemeral and the upload is protected by cloudflare access.
This is the basic every form builder offers.
My default screenshot tool on Linux, Mac and Windows. It works well.
Not super cool with aesthetics but it's flawless so yeah.
With Formester you have options for both 1 and 2.
I also like to think myself as hacker and write blogs and launch apps.
And it made me realize the current offerings are ugly and not neat.
I'll love to get your feedback too.
I think there's scope for #1. As a form builder a lot of our users are in this category and are looking for certain automation which a generic form builder is missing at times.
RDP built into windows should work well?
This is neat.
I'm building Formester and it is a lot of work to keep up a good form builder.
Wish you all the best.
