Some of the models are quite small and worth doing on-device vs the opposite of sending all the data to the server to process. The other huge benefit here is that transformers run in node.js and getting things running is way easier than trying to get some odd combination of python snd its dependencies to work

If you can afford it, the aeron or leap are amazing. Many people make the mistake of sittin in a coworkers or trying it and a store and saying they don't like it. It takes lots of adjustment to get it just right for your body so make sure to spend sometime in a showroom.

I've had the aeron for over a year and I absolutely love it

Just trying to feed my family here and do good work - move along if you don't want to buy it. No need to shit on something I'm especially proud of.

It's not for you then. I just spend a few months of my life working on this course - it's not something you can learns skimming a blog post.

I've been following the development of Mailtrain for a few weeks now and I couldn't be more excited for this project. It's super fast, the interface is great and it took about 4 minutes to install locally.

I'm on Sendy right now which has zero segmentation and development seems to have really slowed on much-needed features.

If you do any sort of email sending, this will save you hundreds per month. I've backed the Indie GoGo and I encourage everyone else to do this as well.

Very cool! I was just saying how hard it is to get someone to deploy a quick node app. Trying it with a React + Express app right now. Taking a while to deploy but I assume you are getting hammered.

Author here - it's just 20 videos broken apart into each topic so when you need to come back to reference something, it's quick.

Is flexbox hard to learn? Yes, but it's because it's such a powerful layout tool. There are tons of gripes about Flexbox, but I've found that if you just put in a few hours to learn it, you are going to be way ahead in your CSS and layout game.

We haven't had to learn anything hard in CSS for years and now it's time. Hunker down and get at it!

Ahah - everyone says that.

The backend for this course is Firebase. It's all done client side and Firebase handles the authentication and data handling!

I much prefer video over writing - that said this videos series took about 200 hours of work start-to-finish. Lots of work, but I absolutely love it.
