Would it help if you get your site behind Cloudflare or similar?.

I also tried to develop with Truffle but after a few hours I decided to avoid it and really start learning all the internals without a framework. To this day I haven't had the need to use Truffle at all to develop the majority of my projects.

The only way this will get fixed is if a script is written to take advantage of the vulnerabilities and clean the sites affected.

From what I can see, you can't make a usable app from this. I would prefer to use flask or pylons for developing an app.
