I personally can’t wait for programming to ‘die’. It has stolen a decade of my life minimum. Like veterinarians being trained to help pets ultimately finding out a huge portion of the job is killing them. I was not sufficiently informed that I’d spend a decade arguing languages, dealing with thousands of other developers with diverging opinions, legacy code, poorly if at all maintained libraries, tools, frameworks, etc if you have been in the game at least a decade please don’t @. Adios to programming as it was (happily welcoming a new DIFFERENT reality whatever that means). Nostalgia is for life, not staring at a screen 8hrs a day

Would love to see a PT.2 w even what is rumored in top closed source frontier models eg. o5, o3 Pro, o4 or 4.5, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Grok 4 and Claude Opus 4

Please. Don't mention apple and AI in the same sentance. Siri is worse than zero, it is utterly absolutely useless. And to partner with OpenAI. They have to get their S** in order here and fast, but if I put out a product like Siri I would be INSANELY embarrassed. If I was a trillion-dollar company and did, I would resign in discrace.

I love some stats and details on this, what kind of traffic are you seeing etc. Do you have a way to determine how many boxes in your visitor checks/unchecks? 97% of your pictures from Hacker News etc. Congrats on the hit!!!! Fun playing with it!!!

And then a second more simple Query ‘find me people who have posted on Mamba architecture and might be looking for jobs’ and got;

We have analyzed 695 candidates and found 0 records matching the search criteria. The search was initiated 1 minute ago and took 50 seconds to complete.

Cool but after waiting 2 mins for a one sentence prompt I got;

We have analyzed 1681 candidates and found 0 records matching the search criteria. The search was initiated 2 minutes ago and took 1 minute and 42 seconds to complete.

This can be (could be) a total hallucination. There may be some training data from OpenAI but outside it responding that way, except for me aforementioned point, where is the proof thus far?

It's good that this is in this thread, as I bet a ton of power users (I check HN multiple times a day for years but likely only a time or two have glossed over the FAQ), did not know FLAG could be used as a downvote tool. Interesting choice by PG, I agree with the previous comment, we have all come to know FLAG as a violation tool on most platforms. Now we know.

I tried with the Chinese in the app and a lot of times at timed out, or went exceedingly fast, I see the snail, but it might seem like cart before the horse to do full Chinese sentences for a beginner. Maybe not and this is proven I'm not sure, but I can say that you act needs some slight tweaks, especially always the pronunciation over top of the Chinese characters. What's the point of serving a chat bubble with Chinese characters to a person that is just learning Chinese? Maybe even the English translation below the Chinese characters and the Chinese pronunciation above. This has huge promise though

Personally while I liked it at outset, and still looks cool (just not for what I thought it was) I got quite annoyed looking it over that you don't differentiate clearly that it is cross-platform VIA browser. Your description/headline make as if it's an installable shell for building a program on various OS, which it is not.

Actually was building a program right now I'm looking at some of these challenges but I would make it a little more clear on the website that the games is just an example utilization of what you've built. From Reading here I thought it was exactly what it was and then confusion hit when I was looking at the website that it might be specific to gaming

Easy, flexible scheme nosql, plenty of baked in features. Has it's place, and many times when it would not be a good choice too.

It was only DETECTED on the 13th, and they suspect had been going on 'for some time'. And basically not sure if user data was touched but they suspect or haven't provided it yet buly saying'NOT'.

I want answers.
