I'm not in their camp, but I think Marc failed to adequately address / refute doomer's arguments

It already has been for number of years. I mean I am not sure about 3d world in VR, but I have not been in the office for years now. Not even in the same country as companies I worked for. Browsers, Zoom, Slack etc are the metaverse and it is glorious !

No one is forcing anyone to use it. We want wild west, we know the risks, thats how we like it. Leave us alone !

I feel dumber having read that article

This is the main problem with EU. It is much easier to pass dumb laws across the continent. No space for competition. It would be much harder to pass these ridiculous laws, country by country.

I'm often baffled why Americans see EU as some some well run utopia. In reality it is increasingly authoritarian dystopia. God I hate EU!

For the first time I’m seriously considering moving to ElSalvador or what ever caribian country has the best balance of least crime, most crypto friendly.

I can see that side of argument, but where do you draw the line ? What about government blocking truckers bank accounts. (Without any due processes!) And blocking accounts of people who donate to them. Even if you disagree with what they are doing. They have families to feed.
