imo, Shopify is evolving quite a lot both in response to where the world is headed (post pandemic online-offline opportunity), as well as now building on top of its learning/experience. If you’re building an app for Shopify, I’d target a very specific niche or something very simple that most merchant would really appreciate. So, the answer is a solid yes.

When starting a new company (esp without any compelling background), no one cares about their project. So founders often reach out/involve potential employees/advisors/supporters on the side line, and sometimes those name appears on incorporation document/contracts/rent agreement etc because founders were trying to get things off the ground. And they don’t want to screw up the newly built relationship to get going.

Situation like these do not make someone a real co-founder.

For me it was Richard Hamming’s You and Your Research.

I recently had office hours with Gustaf, it would be an understatement to say that he is an amazing partner. Every consumer facing startup in the batch should do OH with him asap.

She was my teacher’s sister, we became friends in 2004. Stayed in touch, started first startup in 2010, later started working again on a small project in 2011, which eventually became our current startup Markhor. Got married together in 2015!

In past, we were mainly working with craftsmen on contract basis. Now changing that by starting our own manufacturing facility, this would allow us to hire craftsmen full-time, improve quality of our existing products and launch new products faster.

We ran few small experiment and then hired three craftsmen full-time, first products to come out of this are our accessories for Apple. So far very happy with the decision, craftsmen get paid more as well as other benefits of full-time employee. we can invest more in their training and social benefits. Overall, we are very excited because this contributes to our mission of making the whole supply chain transparent.

In my opinion, recently launched Vllg.com got some of the best new fonts. I especially love Galaxie Copernicus and Sharp Sans Display set.

If s/he is an Apple fan, I would recommend an accessory for Mac / MacBook. (themarkhor.com / hardgraft.com / thisisground.com)

For me it is the app: CURIO.IO; outstanding print content as audio, brought alive by great narrators.

Interesting, I too have considered deleting the account few times.

In my opinion, the endorsement feature is totally useless and doesn't represent any real value.

The only thing useful in LinkedIn case is that sometime I want to connect to a person, and upon looking at their LinkedIn I can find that they are connected to someone in my network.

I am curious if any of you actively use LinkedIn, if yes how? Or may be you can share tips on making use of LinkedIn, for hiring, networking or publishing content.

Especially, deep thinkers in product, strategy, design, growth, marketing and brand etc.
