-Engineering(even if foreign owned), e.g. Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin.

-Design, e.g. furniture.

-Consumables, e.g. alcoholic drinks such as whisky or gin.

Earlier, the Mayor of London said Uber had put "unfair pressure" on TfL, with an "army" of PR experts and lawyers.

Mr Khan, who is also chairman of TfL, told the BBC: "What you can't do is have a situation where unfair pressure is brought on a quasi-judicial body, where there are officials working incredibly hard.

I'm glad TfL stood their ground. I got several emails asking me to sign the petition myself, and I'm guessing Uber deployed multiple other tactics to gather public support, or at least make it seem like they have it. I want Uber to continue operating in London but I haven't signed the petition.

If you're thinking of the same thing I am, then it's different. In some places, the only option may be to defecate on the side of the street by the curb, but that area gets swept frequently. I have never been able to play a dog vs human sidewalk poo guessing game as suggested above, including in the African, Asian and LatAm slums.

Perhaps it's because those people are not a transient homeless population that (presumably) gets cleaned up after, but they actually live there.
