Technically yes, they don't pay salary taxes on nomadic destinations, however in practice, they spend most of their income on these nomadic destinations and probably add a lot more fuel to the economy than an average local.

If you are more interested in best cities by digital nomads, I much prefer nomadlist [1]. Main criteria is safety, cost, internet, fun. You can also add additional filters.

What is your opinion on these claims? I am looking for trustful resources to get an objective overview of the issue. I am generally an optimist and I believe these wars were started with good intentions. The article's narrative is like the people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Pakistan would be better off if US didn't intervene. I don't really believe that. It amazes me how confident the comments against and in favor of crypto/Binance are. It is very likely that you don't have appropriate knowledge or don't have access to critical information as to why something is the way it is.

The youtube link posted below is supposedly revealing irregularities with the audit, but the basic knowledge of how the blockchains work invalidates the irregularities. The claim is that the audit is missing a bunch of wallets and coins, but they don't understand that BSC, ETH and BTC wallets also hold other coins, not just BNB, ETH and BTC (e.g. ETH and BSC wallets can hold basically any coin and even BTC wallet can actually hold USDT/TETHER).

Unless you work at Binance and have access to all the financials, your guess is basically a coin flip wether they are solvent or not.

As an example, a few weeks ago crypto.com was said to be insolvent and there was a bank run [1] [2], however nothing collapsed. As always, be cautios, not your keys, not your coins, but I would definitely not bet (short) that they would collapse.

Ofcourse, it was a response to why I dont just use a 200$ Chromebook. Latest AMD or Intel is definetly as fast, albeit at a higher TDP.

Protip if you have good internet and don't want to configure everything locally: Jetbrains Gateway [1].

At the last company we had Docker, Java 8, Wildfly 10, Gradle 4 and I didn't manage to make it run locally on M1.

I was pleasently surprised with how smooth it was to connect to Ubuntu VM with Jetbrains Gateway. You use native Jetbrains app on your computer (Intellij Idea in my case), but everything is executed and compiled on the remote machine (Ubuntu VM). Another huge upside is that Docker is running on Ubuntu, which is a lot faster than on OSX. Downside is that your are dependant on the Internet ofcourse.

Officially the product is still in Beta, but it worked good enough for me.
