i was hesitating to answer because i did not know what was the product - now i know.

it looks like a niche product for developer community. what i would try:

* write content around how to create web form in different language + add to each article reason why they should use your saas instead

* create a youtube video that would show how to use the product, focus on researched keywords, e.g. how to make a secured web form

* join slack and facebook group communities

* try to promote your tool on producthunt, not because of the sales - but to gather the feedback

* there are many great products out there and some of them have better product market fit + marketing = what i want to say it is more like a marathon than a sprint

Congrats! You have made something of value that people appreciate. Getting the first paid user is usually the hardest.

I would not sell the project at this stage as you would sell it for not a big value. You would need a couple more paying users to prove your concept.

Once you have a few hundred paying users, you would see interesting data. Like how many months they keep paying? How many of them churn? How much can I afford to pay for acquiring a paying user?

I am one of the makers of https://www.gleek.io What diagram do you need to create, ERD? If yes, we have those.

However, the app cannot do drill down yet (and don't know what app can do it).

i would not call cryptocurrencies investing. and i would not recommend it to someone who is just starting / as the question suggest.

yes, it requires a change in the mindset. we were also fighting with it at the beginning. but i work in a small company, cca 30 people, i guess it would be harder in a big company.

I believe asynchronous communication is the key for remote work. It is super-hard to learn and requires a trust, however, I find it the most efficient style of work. Of course there will still be some regular meetings / synchronous communication, but more asynchronous you can do more focus time remains.

I use mostly Entity-Relationship for designing a database, and UML Class diagrams.

Personally I prefer typing to drag-and-drop so I use https://www.gleek.io/

there are many differences to the mermaid. i have mentioned them in the comments already / saving of the diagrams, unified syntax throughout various diagram types, diagram code autocomplete, templates, integrations with azure devops and confluence.

to answer your questions: yes, the free tier is limited to 5 diagram files and 40 diagram objects.

the free tier has diagrams saved in the local IndexDB database of the browser. paid tier has them saved on the servers.
