You constantly have to correct an AI when using it because it either didn't get the question right or you guide him towards a more narrowed answer. There is only more to learn.

You might get a big traffic from HN and don't get much out of it. People might just go, read a page and bookmarked it or think they will come back later. But they usually don't. Don't feel sorry for us, we are very happy :) I'm so happy when I can show my latest pictures to my grandma, read my comics (all in one device), or look up for questions I have / inspiration on internet... all of this I was doing before with different mediums (books, photo paper, dictionaries etc.). So yes it is enriching my life as I have so many things in one small device that I can look up in a few seconds and can carry around so easily.

1. I feel that the pages I'm following bring me a good value. When it comes to people, if somebody is posting crap, I usually remove it from my timeline. I don't think Facebook is meant to exchange good ideas in public, but to share information. I don't want to be philosophical, but being bored is like everything else in life, you keep taking public transport, because it's useful, not that you are in love with it. 2. Facebook is not meant to build a community around a theme, you get information and feedback on pages but nothing more. Dedicated website on games, astronomy etc. were there before and will be there after. 3. I'm living abroad and share every week with my family on a Facebook private group, I just find the feature great!

Javascript front-end framework are really new (3 years old) compare to web frameworks. The need is also quite different. There was a need for a Javascript framework and we can say that jQuery won the battle. We will have to wait few more years to see most of the web app running with a Javascript front-end framework, then you will maybe have a winner!

For that case, giving an idea on how the money is gonna be made (advertisement or other) would give more trust. People wouldn't wonder "for how long" if it comes from Google or a big company as it is a trusted company and it has big chances to last.

I had the same problem, don't want to watch the video as I am at work and I read quickly the headline... didn't get what it was so I closed the page. I got back to HN and read your comment and only got back to the website at that point to finally figure out what it is. So a little headline wouldn't be too much below the title (and I'm part of the target audience).

Don't be angry at Google, be angry at government. It's years that companies are using this - I would call it a government failure. What I don't understand is why - please tell me why - the EU is not doing anything to fix it? Irland got billions from EU to get to the level where they are today (they were to poorest country in europe before), don't tell me that the EU hasn't any way to press Ireland or Netherland to change their law. Again, it needs to go through the press to shake it a bit.

But isn't it also the same problem in the US? Some states have very low taxes on business profits. So you can see very often companies having offices over there?
