Bringing white-collar criminal cases may be easier in Iceland because courts don’t use juries. Rather, they employ neutral experts to help judges understand the intricacies of finance.

I believe Iceland is in the minority among developed nations that don't use juries, but I think this is a major strength in their court system.

The Win8 Store isn't even open to all submissions at this point. Microsoft has only issued a handful of keys to selected developers, which allows them to submit apps. Without this key, you can't even make a developer account.

If you don't have a key, you can still develop Metro apps with VS 2011 Beta and test them using the Windows app certification utility that's included to see if the app would hypothetically pass.

I suppose this limits the growth of the Win8 Store at first, but I'm still surprised that there are only 99 apps given how many keys were issued. Also, I believe Microsoft is funding the development of apps by some popular app developers for iOS and Android.

Since you are a group of girls in the startup scene, for whatever project you take on, I would suggest that you put a lot of focus on being in the public eye for your brand (I mean this in the least creepy way possible). In an industry that's clouded with males, a startup with a group of female founders is quite refreshing, and would likely get some good media attention.

I think the term 'startup' is being thrown around too much these days. Don't get me wrong, I do see potential in your idea but it's probably a bit soon to be considered a startup.

I think a big factor that's hurting the process is the emails that bounce or must wait to be received by the server on the receiving end. The server keeps retrying sending emails to those addresses, and eventually it just accumulates.
