This is a great addon. works on most channels.

I personally do not use it though as I do not have a problem with advertising in general. As long as there is no data collection and targeted ads, I am good to sponsor with my time.

Couldn't they have gone Intellij Idea route. Their community (free) version is Apache License 2.0, Ultimate (paid) version is closed source.

and easily mitigated by the right use of parentheses.

System.out.println((1 + 2) + " = " + (1 + 2));

Stay evil.

Wow. Google went a full 180 from being a company that promoted itself by saying "Don't be evil" to something evil. Couldn't Google have made its billions still being not evil, without its privacy issues, without its obnoxious desire for tracking everything. Did they turn to this evil for the money or just because they can do it (or if not someone else will).

and a lot of flaws that I'm probably forgetting right now

when the first iPhone was announced, I couldn't help but think of an emergency use case where I could dial 911 on my old nokia even while it is switched off. Now I have to switch on my phone, unlock, open phone app, dialer and then 911. A total of 4 additional steps.

Was this addressed in some way that I am not aware of?

Yes. Hello sounds amazing, but it could have been an extension along with hundreds of other amazing extensions for firefox. The point is there are extensions that I use and there are extensions that I do not use. There is no reason to stuff something down my throat however amazing they sound.

This looks good. What I was expecting though was a low price phone which match the specs on my phone. I know those phones are out there, but I would like to sort by price (so that I can find cheapest), OS (android/windows/ios), manufacturer.

...and to press #4 to talk to their security department

Does something bad happen by pressing a number on dial pad or they just transfer to a human to talk to. Just curious because I heard from someone that pressing a button was good enough for the spammer who is calling you, but it does not makes sense how that can harm.

...solved by simply including a signature of the content rather than encrypting everything.

How do you deliver the signature to the client. If it is through the unencrypted channel, then the signature could also be MitM'd.

Future was when I watched Steve Jobs flick his finger to scroll through contacts when he was introducing the first iphone. Prior to that I always felt scrolling through 200+ contacts on my sony ericsson phone was unnecessarily hard. It has been almost 8 years since and I can distinctly remember the awe on my face.

I am living in the future ever since.

I have debugged a C# application in VS and a Java application in IntelliJ and in Eclipse. I did not see any debugging features in VS that can claim its superiority over the others. May be I have not used all the features that were available.

Are there any features in VS debugger that are better or non-existent in Java IDEs?

Not sure about Thailand, but this is true for USA.

My colleague's wife is on H4 (dependant) visa and prior to coming to USA, she had a job in India. We talked to a lawyer and then with USCIS and both of them confirmed that it is not a possibility that she can work remote here in USA on H4 even though she gets paid in India.

Why does the browser even allow any toolbar/extension to modify the content that was delivered on a HTTPS connection. Isn't the data that is delivered over HTTPS pristine that it should not be modified at the browser endpoint by the browser.

I am a layman in security and do not understand a lot of this. May be I missed something here. Is my question correct?

Hindu units of time 11 years ago

I guess the relevance come from

"The current Universe was created in Padma kalpa, the last day Kalpa of 50 th year of Bramha. This is 10.51 billion years ago. This figure is close to modern estimated 13.78 billion years."

But now the question is was it pure luck that the ancient humans came up with a number that is close to the current scientific values or is there something that is lost in time. May be they were advanced than us and we just don't know. Of course, no evidence = grain of salt.

Its not that bad in the recent years. I applied for my labor in aug 2012 (step 1), it was approved in less than 3 months. later applied for I140 (step 2), it was too approved in less than 4 months. Since I have an approved I140, my wife (an H4 holder) can apply for EAD under this new rule. Also the rule states that its either approved I140 OR H1B over 6 years.
