How come no one even bothered to remove his full address and ssn from the records?.. On the other hand, even the very names of people who approved and drafted the documents are removed.

This is a good read and the ideas in its background apply to a number of issues, one of which being the perceived helplessness you have mentioned.

For convenience's sake,
I want to see you use those legendary bodies and that legendary strength and that legendary courage and the tenderness that you say you have in behalf of women; and that means against the rapists, against the pimps, and against the pornographers. It means something more than a personal renunciation. It means a systematic, political, active, public attack. And there has been very little of that.
But do RTFA :)
BECAUSE you have government sticking its nose where it shouldn't (I'd say, it shouldn't stick its nose anywhere, but that's another story). Comcast is the second largest lobbyist in Washington.
Your argument, even though it reads like liberal laissez-faire stuff, actually is: the government is being controlled by corporations.
So, your solution of "stop regulation" is offtopic. Come up with something relevant to your own argument first. Like, hmm, "stop corporations from dictating governance". That'll work.
Gotta adore the whitewashing priorities.
Psst,
It also records details about visits to a popular internet journal for Linux operating system users called "the Linux Journal - the Original Magazine of the Linux Community", and calls it an "extremist forum". [1]
Hush puppy, it's okay to call absurd that which is absurd. It won't bite you.
Oh, wait...

These sexual harassment cases do more to hurt women than help them IMHO. It reinforces the viewpoint that women are seen as a liability.
Let me translate what you just said: if someone harasses you at your workplace and elsewhere, and as such causes harm to you, and do so also by deploying systematically dissipated stereotypes (yes, they are social weapons), you shall not press charges, because if you do, you would be a petty little girl who is causing harm to your company.
...
Functionally, laws don’t matter here. Their existence, and their content, are not predictive of the NSA’s behavior.

Not new and definitely not a reason for inaction.
The only place I have encountered any willingness to set aside a conspiracy of wide-spread, omnipresent male power that ruthlessly exploits female powerlessness is the Men’s Rights Movement.
The author should think about taking some classes. The "omnipresent male power" argument is a staple of myths around radical feminism.
Most contemporary feminisms take into account historicity and contingency in power relationships, as do almost all of critical theory and queer theory. People need to get their asses off of their heads and of the myths that are injected into poorly formulated beginner-level feminist arguments.
The H1Bs aren't being hired by A-list companies.
H1B is a type of visa, it cannot be hired.
They're getting hired by old, slow, cheap, mostly non-tech corporations who won't compete on either quality of work or wages.
Foreigner = Evil. On the other hand, you get an H1B if you are shown to be more qualified than u.s. citizens who applied to the job. If anything, it's a great way to bring in skilled laborers and keep them in check (since, if you get fired, you get deported too).
Yes, race and ethnicity are socially constructed and are fluid.
No, however much you try to whitewash it, 70-30-3-4-5 is as shitty as it gets outside of legalized segregation.
Who was that guy with that bigass beard was? You know, the one everyone in tech takes lightly and treats as the butt of the joke? He keeps owning your asses as you keep ignoring him.
The one who advocates open hardware. You know.
I cringe every time something vaguely related to feminism or gender equality is posted here. I'm not sure if I should flag it or not, though.
Sarcasm?
I mean, you just said you can't tolerate anything related to gender equality. Eeesh.
Nope it wasn't. Cute political commentary on experiments on animals though.
I simply hate editing Wikipedia articles. Too many restrictions, too many rules, too much bureaucracy to go around if someone doesn't like your edits.
I detest doing substantive contributions. Too much control and too much conservatism as to what gets to be and gets to be included in it.
The various autonomous wikis are usually better in these aspects but because of the issues above, they cannot contribute much upstream.
What if it crashes into me?
First world problems. Literally.
Awww, it's okay boy, you'll survive even if gender is not fixed the way you thought it were and even if your gender becomes irrelevant.
Hmm, so, not a single comment about how absolutely none of the issues raised by @nrrrdcore are addressed by neither github (whitewashing it all) nor these folk (one of which threatened everyone who questions him with a lawsuit). And none of the comments even mention @nrrrdcore or what she raised.
We seem to be witnessing the convenient limits of discourse.
... and didn't harass the employee.
By either compiling & installing it with -DOPENSSL_NO_HEARTBEATS or waiting for the security fix to be backported by ubuntu devs. http://heartbleed.com/
the tech community proved itself remarkably intolerant this week when it forced the .
Are.. you.. kidding.. me?...
A - I think lgbti I employ should not be allowed the same rights as my other employees
B - We want equal treatment under the law.
Which one of these is intolerant again?
I have a family to take care of so losing my job would be a pretty big deal.
I wonder how you'd feel if your company hired a CEO who would want to take away your spouse's benefits because [insert arbitrary reason here]. There is a reason why people are vocal: they get hurt otherwise.
seems u listened the first part. also, seriously, learn critical thinking.

We seem to keep finding ways to fuck up the earth for pretty useless and unnecessary reasons. I lol'd at our obvious dumbassness.
I changed my email address at my bank. They still send emails to my old address (and to my new address). They have no idea why and how. I'm pretty sure this kind of "thing" will happen to many others, with the difference that I keep my old (yahoo) address active...
The link OP has posted has nothing to do with the HN headline s/he used.
