I think this is a great place to start for a OSS CoT framework.

It can solve:

Comparing 9.11 and 9.8

Counting the number of 'R's in "strawberry"

The "marble in a cup" problem

Has:

- Full transparency with visual tracking on graph network

- Infinite recursion

- Self-healing with continuous testing (can test each step)

- Python interpreter

I agree for the most part, but I've decided markdown is the best for this. Plain text is just easier to link, store, query and markdown can be rendered as slides with little to no effort.
