A bit off-topic but I super enjoyed the UI on the Windows Phones at the time. Only topped by the WebOS from Palm even before it I recall.

I've been twice the past year to buy their keyboards in-person in Lexington Kentucky US. They treated me very well. I can say this much, the full-size keyboard has a slightly nicer feel to it than the 10-key-less version, the key travel that is.

I've been using LLM's to do my OpenSCAD work for over two years now. It's always where I start (and end).

Two things... one personal and one technical. I was in that war. I was a silent conscientious objector (I thought the war was about oil and money.) I went because I had an obligation to go. I have many stories but the best one is this. When the war ended, we sold our portable hospital to the Kuwaitis. We went to Kuwait City to deliver it and saw the destruction; the six miles of death. When I jumped off the truck and the people, families rushed up to me(us) and kissed my cheek, bowed and kissed my feet—I could not make them stop. They would raise up and say in cryptic English "We thank The United States, President Bush and you." I was touched and changed—it changed my opinion of the cause. What if I was sent back home directly after the war? To this day I would have said what I thought before.

It's pretty sweet. I just fielded a full online order system and did it in 30 calendar days flat. It wins five-star reviews from my users and raving compliments.

When you run out of work simply go visit an old client—not to ask for business, not to ask for anything, just a visit to see them. Within about two weeks, that client is calling me with a project to do. It is magic. I did this many times.

Wow. Version 1 was August of 1995. I discovered the Internet in September.

Until last year and for two years I kept an Etherpad Lite to do shared text editing and it was amazing. It was in use for three years. The only reason I stopped using it was Google Docs, who bought the company or IP for Etherpad, can do the same thing and therefore I don't have to do the Linux maintenance. I even had it use SQlite as the database and it could handle as many as 30 simultaneous users without a hitch.

They do here in the US too. If I forget, I just ask them for a "here" cup/mug and it seems to make it taste better too.
