That's blowing your mind because the currently implicitly or mindlessly acknowledged understanding by the majority of people is that today is the peak of human's evolution. Majority thinks that they inherently and collectively know everything better in relation to what our ancestors knew, especially compared to those thousands of years ago. But how do you really know. Because they had no iPhones and cars? Development of technical tools, yeah there we _might_ well be on the peak, but that doesn't really cover all aspects of actually _understanding_ our earth and the universe.

Let's, I am not afraid of the earth getting much warmer, I see it as mostly fear mongering. If it's really getting _that_ hot that we mammals can't survive, then let that be it. There's the notorious idea of some humans that we can control everything. Let's continue keeping the earth a clean, healthy space, let's stop producing so much waste, let's clean the water, I am all in. But to believe that we are heating up the earth, I'm glad that not all agree to that nonsense.
We are on the natural rise after a natural ice period. Just check long term temperature curves and stop looking short term, making it look like there has ever been the same average temperature on earth.
You are mistaken, it's not Tucker Carlson who convinced me that climate change isn't man made, it's the many many facts that speaks against a climate change that is significantly influenced by man. Our influence is just significantly too small. And I am not talking about pollution here, I condemn water, sky and soil pollution as anyone else who loves this beautiful earth.
And when it comes to abortion, I do think it can be considered in some way or the other as human sacrifice, but again, that's not thanks to what you find charming in Tucker Carlson. I don't even like him too much, but he's got it right on many points. You call that a lie, fine with me. But I call it a lie that the forceful Capitol entering was a "storming", I still consider it pretty much staged by agitators, following a nice blueprint which has been played out in other countries, too.
And after all, you are boring calling those things conspiracy theories. This lolly has been eaten so many times, it's lost its taste already.
Ah really? And what about this staged "storming" which rather looks like a guided tour by police through the rooms with the police opening doors?

Why is your CNN not talking about that? Not fitting their narrative, mhm?
The Vue/Angular demo files make use of `new Proxy()`. To the devs knowing these frameworks: is that best practice, or asked differently, are these representative examples?
"CrowdStrike determined in June 2016 that Russian agents had broken into the committee’s network and stolen emails that were subsequently published by WikiLeaks. Its findings were confirmed by FBI investigators, with whom it later shared the forensic evidence."
[Trump]: I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike… I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server, they say Ukraine has it.
If only the actual intentions were indeed good.
Exactly, you can't even fix the problem at the root, b/c the problem is already with the humans, making up stuff.
Economic development? Which countries?
It's his blog an his opinion. I liked his side kick on the masks mandate and thanked him for that via email.
Wait, that was a conspiracy theory in 2020, wasn't it? Does that mean China are part of a group of conspiracy practitioners?
"Good" that Microsoft now owns GitHub. They could now provide their AI tech to find out (and sell) which social engineering methods have worked out successfully on open source GitHub projects. I.e. which socially engineered PRs had been accepted and which not. And then train their models to improve PR acceptance right. Allowing to automate or at least enhance the entire project communication for best acceptance rate. #NSAKEY
Ha! Just thought about and posted the same. See: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=40063256
Makes sense. So that von der Leyen, president of the EU, can just continue deleting her SMS containing secret vaxx purchase deals with BigPharma [0]. SMS is somewhat a chat, too, right? But good that she can be now exempted from ChatControl.

A few days ago I had to create an architectural diagram for my client. I found d2lang and liked its visual style a lot. Then I quickly found your blog entry/tutorial thanks to an old HN post which allowed me to complete the diagram in about 1 hour. Thanks a ton for having it published, I know that I will be a frequent user of d2lang now and that is also thanks to your article which contains all important instructions for a reader to successfully get started with d2lang.
Unfortunately nothing else to expect from Deutsche Welle (dw.com)... German history repeats itself.
Unfortunately true. Also jumped the fly.io ship after initial high excitement for their offering. Moved back to DigitalOcean's app platform. A bit more config effort, significantly pricier, but we need stability on production. Can't have my customers call me b/c of service interruption.
Hi Lionga, grandparent poster here and fellow German. Did exactly the same thing as you did. For the same reasons. With the same success. I congratulate us for leaving a, pardon me everyone else, highly corrupt state.
Nothing against paying some taxes. But keep in mind that Germany is among the top ranking highest tax paying countries. And there are better "society functioning" countries than Germany, at much lower tax rate. Not every tax rate is fair. Some tax rates are unethically high b/c due to a overloaded govt. apparatus.
Politically motivated decision as German state attorneys are bound by instruction. German ruling parties do finance climate activists.
If only the state attorney was politically independent. Which is not the case for in some European countries. And climate activism is financially supported by German's green left wing parties. No wonder the state attorney came to such a conclusion

The situation is completely different for public prosecutors: They are bound by instructions, and a long chain of examining authorities stands above them.
Above all, the many reports in politically sensitive cases demotivate public prosecutors and tie up resources that could be used for investigations.
There's ton of information available, especially for the case of Germany.
Is this any good for regular full stack programming, running a couple of docker containers?
I still get "Health check: unavailable" errors and need to continously redeploy.
Just moved from fly.io (due to severe continuous networking issues in their JNB data center lasting for 48 hours) to DigitalOcean and on the second day my services (via DO Apps Platform) are offline thanks to this incident :face-palm:
Bravo, bravo, bravo. HN still has some open-minded and far-seeing people left. Was almost giving up here, but your comment made me calm down.
Very good. There will be an increasing demand for pure human beings. Those who can practice divine creativity, due to their pure personality, body and spirit. The "intangibles".
