A consequence of tools like Sora and Google Flow is that there will be an increase in amateurs creating professional quality content for comparatively cheap. So a thousand such shows (probably many more) isn't in the realm of the impossible!

they don't do anything special for frozen items .... it's just as if you get it in bags from the store. .... add in additional time for neighborhood deliveries if any ..... usually they arrive semi-frozen .... you can track the delivery driver from the store (where they hopefully keep it in a cold room) to your home... for me it takes them from 20 mins to 1 hour for delivery ...

This is a good writeup, but the VP learnings/mistakes (#3, 4 and 5) honestly felt pretty amateur mistakes for any leadership position ... even for just a junior managerial role. It's a good thing they were able to learn on the job, but the team could have used a more seasoned leader - or the author could have had more pre-training/coaching.

The concept of playdates is amusing to me as an immigrant. In Indian cities where most people live in apartments, the kids just go down and play around with the 10s of kids from the neighborhood. Adults get free time and kids get to socialize and enjoy.

Yes, I am the same. I enjoyed the entire S2 even though I left S1 after 1 or 2 episodes.

S2 has great, great acting and characters along-with good pacing since they apparently jammed in at-least 2 seasons into a single season. It starts out strong too.

S2 shows the larger republic and it's politics and factions. This gives you a broader galactic context of what's going on. This enamored me and got me to go back and re-watch the first 6 movies. I originally watched them as a teen and was lost at the time. Really started to appreciate the setting and story now.

I need to go back and watch the remainder of S1 though since they say it gets better later.

The Beauty of Modeling Everything as Events - hen you model work as events, powerful patterns emerge

Wouldn't you say these patterns aren't unique to event based systems since functional composition can also lead to these patterns? For eg: see the Streams API in Java

========= - Where would push event systems make sense over pull based systems?
