I have Cooler Master Storm Rapid I mechanical backlit keyboard. It's pretty compact as it doesn't have numerical keyboard. It has nice light effects as it pretty configurable. I am not really impressed with this keyboard - I make a lot typing mistakes, it's very sensitive. For comparison, I can type faster and with fewer typing mistakes on Lenovo e325 laptop keyboard. It costs about 100euro in my country.

I don't have experience with other mechanical keyboards, so i would appreciate if someone can compare it to other mechanical keyboards.

good news. I hope that new sync feature will work seamlessly and efficiently - I disabled sync about a year ago because browser became sluggish with large number of bookmarks.

I have lots of websites hosted on S3 - you can have up to 100 buckets per account and every bucket can be a website. I use different setup - s3sync for syncing and AutoIt script for static blog generation (~100 lines of code).

Digg Reader Update 13 years ago

I hope Digg Reader will be simple and usable product, because there aren't many quality replacements for Google Reader. I have to say that I transitioned successfully from Reader to Gwene (RSS/Atom to Usenet News gateway) so I can read articles in any Usenet reader (I use new Opera Mail). Unfortunately AFAIK Gwene doesn't support import from Google Reader, but that shouldn't become an obstacle for people with modest amount of subscriptions.

Yup, this is currently the best and quickest way to fix problems with Firefox. If you set up sync, you can reset browser and reload context (extensions, settings, history, passwords, ...) in a few minutes.

I have experienced similar behavior with Firefox on Windows 7 recently. A lot of freezing and slowing down. Then I solved it by removing bookmarks from sync. I have a lot of bookmarks and it seems that syncing them is cause of freezing. If you use sync feature, try this or just unlink device (Options -> Sync).

Because it's easy? I have 100 static websites on S3. After initial setup of buckets, it's trivial to update/sync all of these sites using command line tool (I use S3 Sync) with one click on a batch file. And hosting on S3 is cheap.

Can we share tips for "feeding" a browser with fake data and keeping some level of anonymity? For example, I noticed that one of the factors for Panopticlick is time zone. This is easily faked with changing a time zone on your computer and then starting a browser. You can fake IP address with anonymous proxies and change user agent in browser settings. Is there a way to change/fake plugin and fonts list as these are worst offenders regarding fingerprinting?

Diet is the most important: cut out anything with flour and sugar in it.

Exercise: skip endurance exercises - they waste muscle. Do some weight exercises 3 times a week, or chins/dips/pushups if you prefer bodyweight exercises.

Keep workouts short: 30-45 minutes. Always warm up before workouts, no need to stretch. Once or twice a week do this: run fast (sprint) 100 yards 5 times, rest for a few minutes between runs.

I've lost 20 pounds in two months and gained some muscle following this plan.

Eat natural fats - butter, coconut oil, animal fat (lard) and natural food with high fat content - bacon, eggs... You won't have energy ups-downs and you will feel strong and satisfied (drop sugar and flour).
