You reference Kinesis in the article so I assume you've seen the Kinesis Advantage 360? I've been a happy Kinseis Advantage user for two decades, and the 360 is pretty much perfect. It has dedicated keys for activating layers, you can remap and configure on a website using web serial, and it is extremely premium looking/feeling. And of course it's very comfortable without the thumb key problem discussed in this article.

It wasn't really rejected, there was no deal at all. The two parties didn't have the same understanding of a key term of the deal, the judge pointed it out, and then the parties weren't able to agree on that term.

They already do require manual approval. You have to submit a support ticket before generated tokens will work.

GraphQL supports schema stitching, so you can have one API endpoint request lots of different information from different services, and combine information seamlessly server-side. (e.g. Wordpress author -> user service -> posts on a different service)

I grew up in Seattle but lived in Philly for 2 years and this was one of the strangest things to me. In many cases they don't post _any notices at all._

I have nothing but positive memories from all the times we met in S12. Your genuine excitement for the cool products everyone was building was refreshing in a time when all my conversations were about customer development and building an org. (Not that we didn't also talk about that, of course, but you were always the biggest reminder WHY we were here.)

Wow this is awesome! We have been building similar pipelines on top of CognitoForms but this is a much easier fit.

Azure support will have us recreate instances if there's a problem

Azure's network keeps randomly partitioning itself every few months, a bunch of VMs will be unable to talk in the same AZ with the same security policies etc, no changes at all for months. And yeah, they just tell us to recreate the instances which is a huge pain with Nomad. No one has ever shown any interest in figuring out what causes this, despite the fact that it's been happening for years.

At this point, most commercial and military pilots should be grounded for taking the new virus shots.

This happened to me with multiple questions when I interviewed for a Facebook internship back in 2010.

I didn't really understand that this was bad (if I wasn't supposed to memorize the answers to all the questions, why were they all online and completely unrelated to the skills needed to be a developer?)

The interviewer got upset and asked me a poorly worded question which I think he made up on the spot.

This looks like a wonderful tool, but I would be hesitant to use it solely because I'm sure Calendly's IP lawyers will try to shut you down for the name. (It's similar enough that I mistook the HN post for Calendly several times.)

I have read his spreadsheets, so here's my critique. (And I will say that, throwing all the spreadsheets out the window, I still agree broadly with many points to some extent.)

The input numbers (in meta.xlsx) come from imperfect samples of the real world with non-zero error -- often quite a bit higher than 0 -- which is compounded pretty far in some cases. I don't think any person actually can actually evaluate these studies, which is a major problem with this entire idea and is a fundamental problem with any overly-quantitative solutions to problems.

I recall meeting Oshmyansky when he was pitching Osh's Affordable Pharmaceuticals (I think at a YC interview day). He really has a thing for sketchy sounding names :) but I really admire how driven he is to solve this problem.

Crazy, I remember meeting him before our interview.

I can't speak for everyone but with the volume of investments YC makes, I find it hard to be biased toward a YC company.

I was told the reason for the orange username was so that we didn't start a fight with other YC alums, which would have been awkward back when the community was only a few hundred people.
