To be fair, on the US site it's an "Early Access" feature that is in no way the default.

On airbnb.com.au, the full cost is the default view, and you can change the pricing to USD very easily in the bottom floating footer.

You do not need the full HomePod to do multi-room audio. I have three HomePod Minis, one 1st gen HomePod, two AppleTVs, and an old Airport Express that I can use in any combination for whole home audio in sync. It works extremely well.

I'm recently diagnosed with ADHD-like symptoms and started on a low dose of Focalin about a month ago.

I can say for short-term focus and motivation it's been life-changing.

I would frequently flip-flop between getting sucked into rabbit-holes and having too many things going on at once. I now find that I can focus on tasks much better throughout the work day. My quality of work has improved as I've been able to better focus my time on what matter.

My doc has warned that over time I likely will need dosage increases, but for now it's been a wonderful experience with very few side effects (headaches the first day or two).

You will get out of your career what you put into it. I had kids at 24/26 and have found success relative to my peers in the field.

Sure there are sacrifices to be made with respect to career options. You can't (or shouldn't) just move cities every three years when a new job comes up, but working remotely can level that playing field quite a bit.

Come work on the website you can't live/work without! Multiple teams at Stack Overflow are actively hiring for various engineering roles. Stack is a .NET/C#/MSSQL shop but we don't explicitly require experience in anything specific (although it definitely helps!).

Stack is remote-first and provides many high-level benefits ($2000 onboarding stipend for home office equipment, incredible healthcare, 401K matching, etc)

I have the Ergochair 2 from Autonomous and love it, especially for "ass comfort".

I've worked from home for 6 years and it's been the best chair I've had personally.

In the United States I would say it depends where you live. I'm a Democrat in a forever-red state. My vote for President will never matter as long as the Electoral College is there.

I still vote for state-wide and local matters and that is where my vote really does count.
