This is the second version of the Lockitron.

This is their second product. The original Lockitron came out in 2011 or so. I know many people who installed them in their offices.

When I was in College (just graduated a few months ago), GitHub applied a $7 coupon to my account, which covers a micro account. All I did was ask about student pricing. They should probably offer an educational discount with .edu email verification.

I too give them the benefit of the doubt. I think its just a phase, which they will hopefully move past quickly.

I think this issue is beyond defining. Skeuomorphism has been generalized to cover most designs that include faux textures or design elements.

I am in a principles of programming languages class currently, and we are doing very similar work. We are writing interpreters, type checkers, and more for a new language our teacher has defined. We are doing all of this in Scala.

Why would you have two contracts?

Buy iPhone 3GS June 2009, Contract ends in June 2011. June 2010, sell 3GS, buy iPhone 4 and now contract ends 2012.

It is an early upgrade which requires you to sign a new two-year contract.

Then make it worth more. Things like Applecare, the software you have on it, and other upgrades can increase the value.

Load it up with expensive software and you will earn a higher resale value.

I have worked at an apple store, we only require proof that you are a student(student id, transcript, staff paycheck) and a drivers license #.

There is no check for the student pricing. You are however limited to buying one computer a year with the discount. So if you try to buy another computer within a year using an education discount with the same DL, you will be denied the discount.

US carriers do require this. After one year, AT&T usually lets you get the newest iPhone at the subsidized cost if you sign another contract. It still locks you in to two years from the date that you last bought a new phone.

Honestly everyone needs to get over themselves and their opinions on "roles" in this terrible time.

This is totally an Apple thing. I worked Apple retail, and they tell you all the time that Apple is not in the computer business. They are in the people business. I can see this happening at any major Apple store given the extreme circumstances.
