Recall won’t save any content from your private browsing activity when you’re using Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, or other Chromium-based browsers.

Without a system-level incognito mode feature I could see apps allowing users to denote their windows as DRM content to avoid Recall.

That's not what executive privilege means. Executive privilege is the right to shield documents from disclosure to Congress.

Moreover, taking certain documents, specifically those relating to nuclear secrets, is unrelated to the Presidential Records Act, and must be declassified following the Atomic Energy Act.

Many years ago I worked at a startup where the CEO was a former CS professor. While at the university, he worked with a somewhat legendary guy who ran the CS school's IT infra. Somehow wires got crossed in recruiting while sourcing the candidate, and another guy with _the exact same name_ who _also worked at the university in IT_ but for a different school got hired after what must've been a perfunctory interview.

The startup had a lot of other problems, that one was the most awkward. It folded not very long afterwards.

Bear in mind matter isn't the only component. Energy is another huge input to the system. E.g. blockchain and its derivatives use tiny amounts of matter to use enormous amounts of energy.

We can and must develop more environmentally responsible sources of matter and energy. Trying to change human behavior with our current regulatory controls have been demonstrably inadequate. There are sources of matter and energy that do not run out, I believe them to be in space.

An EIS can be useful cudgels to impede construction. In Seattle, one portion of a very controversial multi-use trail had an EIS that took "more than three years at a cost of $2 million. If you’ve flown a plane on autopilot, the experience is similar: you can direct your attention elsewhere and you end up less fatigued. You still need to be awake and alert but don’t have to worry about tedious things like holding a heading/drifting out of your lane or maintaining speed.

You can do this free using Quicktime: select the iPad as a camera source in Quicktime, and then share Quicktime app window.

There is a delicate, nebulous balance between modeling independent adult behavior and being a care giver.
