I did/do really enjoy the thought experiments posited in these comments. For more than a few minutes my mind's eye forgot that my finances have been a slow-motion trainwreck these last 3 years.

We just passed 1 month since acquisition, and yet the multitude of articles(and 1000's of posts here on HN) calling out Twitter for not paying it's debts makes it seem like they are > 30/60/90 in arrears. I understand it's a shit show, but pouring gas on the fire is not helping; the exact opposite, as I presume it is intended.

Following extra spicy foods with a pint or two of milk neutralizes the post pyrotechnics, for me. If lactose intolerant, sugar works, but not as well(Perhaps in large/unhealthy quantity?). YMMV.

Ask anyone who shares space around them on the road and that opinion will be, approaching 100%, contradictory. Situational awareness and anticipation are key components to safely operating a vehicle, with or without 'assistance technologies'.

Agreed. There is a pop-up asking if you want to help at install(FF & TB). Big data has earned a reputation for just cause. If the Mozillas want to differentiate themselves to get that trust, aka opt-in, I encourage them. So far, "No, thanks".
The only problems I experienced are when the wireless bands are deprecated. I'd still be rolling my n900, otherwise. Old drivers or not, there is/was still some development going on; Leste & PostmarketOS, IIRC.

In a year or two, when that notebook has been filled and replaced with newer notebooks, make some time to go back and reread. It is wild sometimes, re-reading things I forgot I know/knew. Pretty sure this helps for recall, even if not, it is still nostalgically entertaining.

Back in the golden age of phpBBs, I would give posters 1 notice when veering OT or getting nasty, then transfer the (sub-)thread to our 'FlameWar' room. There, they could, and would, be as nasty as they liked to each other. I failed to stem the flow of toxicity, but merely re-directed it. It worked out pretty well, and ironically, the more toxic categories were the most popular viewed threads for trolls and lurkers, alike. Go figure.

Sleep is almost impossible with regular check-ups... 30 min or 60 min, don't remember. Excepting the comatose and most medicated(maybe not?), a person's sleep cycle is unable to reach REM when a stranger approaches and fiddles on regular intervals. I would think monitoring from afar(sensors, cameras) would be more beneficial, but I was informed the liability factors preclude such remote monitoring.
edit: to add context, I slept in the room on separate occasions with 2 family members. While tests were not performed, the regular checks were mandated. I was exhausted after my shifts ended.
If you step back from the trainwreck and look around, the job market is not good anywhere. Some definitely will find fast employment, but > or = quality & remuneration is not a given. For the rest, 3 months may cover on-boarding time, if they strike an offer quickly. This just sucks all the way around. I wonder if EM has a master plan or a brain tumor.
That was my coach's rationalization for not sending me to state competition at the end of my freshman year, despite my quali's. I put a "head" onto his name when I said thanks, got in lots of trouble and went and got a job instead of further competition. Best decision ever. Thanks, Richard!

I wouldn't travel outside a major metro, or on a weekend, without a spare; phone service gets sketchy when rural & the likelihood for monetary abuse by rando Roadside Service providers is likely to be very abusive, as I have experienced 1st hand. I always have a spare tire, jack, plug kit & air pump in my vehicles.
I do travel much, 20-30k miles a year, so I likely experience more issues than average... was zip-tying my shift linkage after a rock bounced up and broke it a couple months back.
