As digital natives, Gen Z members have grown up with access to technology and are very comfortable using it in their everyday lives. One particular technology that has undergone significant changes in recent years is the camera, and Gen Z is at the forefront of this shift.

It takes just 20-40 seconds to generate an AR experience, and all that is needed is a smartphone and the Shader app. It provinces a new way to make videos with its AR-first video creation tool that anyone can use.

This tool will help creators by sparking your creativity and inspiring you to build — and all you need is just your phone camera! At the current stage of Shader’s development, we want to show you how the creation process will start using simple building blocks and ideas on your smartphone.

I need just three minutes of your attention. My name is Darya. I’m an immigrant from Belarus, and around two years ago, I decided to try my career skills in Silicon Valley. At that moment, I had an awesome career in my country and didn’t think at all that one day I wouldn’t be able to go back to Belarus because of the political situation occurring there now. I had a dream to live for a few years in San Francisco, study UX/UI design, and then share my knowledge with the people of Eastern Europe. I still work with Belarusian startups… but without the possibility to go back when I want.

I posted an idea about 4 months ago, we took in feedback and today we launched on Product Hunt!

It was this moment that inspired me to build a platform where kids could share their ideas and knowledge with others. Today I’m happy to share our initial version of TeenUP with other parents and people who want to help invest in kids’ education! We focused on creating a family-friendly and safe environment in our platform. We work hard to prevent bullying as well, using technology, human moderation, and feedback from parents to protect kids and parents alike. Our first students (and their parents!) love TeenUP because it allows them to gain new knowledge in short, fun videos. And we’re avoiding discredited engagement tactics (such as dislikes) that have resulted in negative behavior on other platforms. We also have a special category of content so that more experienced students and education professionals can teach younger students as well. Maybe you can help kids learn to launch their own startup someday too? Please try out our app — or more importantly, share it with a student or parent that is looking for a new and engaging way to help kids learn. We’ll be here all day to take your feedback!

TeenUP was created to give kids a platform to learn new skills each day from their peers. The app allows kids to quickly and easily create short, unique, educational videos to share with friends and the world.

Connect.Club app lets you engage in real-time, informal communication with colleagues and friends and get introduced to new friends. By creating your personal virtual space, you will be able to meet up with friends and get connected to new people too.

We want to create a product where every chance to meet somebody can change our history. Connect.Club is for people who have previously been in various professional communities but want to communicate with each other constantly, not only chatting. The virtual space that we invented is a convenient form representing that process. For us, it is important that people relax, feel confident, and are not afraid to share useful information and get acquainted.

On this new platform, users can gather useful contacts, find a coach, meet for video chatting with the community, and access private, professional groups. Connect.Club has developed a separate niche with an emphasis on attracting useful contacts. The application will not be a replacement for Zoom, but it can safely compete and complement LinkedIn. The company’s objective is to create a modern platform with users' personal accounts to help them with their goals for networking. For example, in one application, users could see other people who are in search of a new job or in search of a mentor, startups at the stage of raising investments and seeking investors, and interest clubs and professional communities that are more likely to meet offline or communicate more in chat rooms.

The app is unique in that up to fifty people can gather in a virtual room at the same time. But they will not interfere with each other even though there may be several speakers. In this virtual place, you hear and see only those people who are close to your avatar. To move your avatar, tap where you’d like to go on the screen. On a map of the space, you can see where other people are and move to their location. You can also create your own virtual space that imitates a restaurant, a bar, a garden, or even a beach, and then invite your friends to join. The app uses Twilio technology for high-quality video calls.
