Chicago is pretty silly but, check out Lamar Smith's district. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/TX/21
If you look at the TX map and zoom in on Austin you will see how silly it is.
That is a bizarre looking jet.
I meant measures beyond remembering really hard. Writing software to brute force it with the bits I already know. Believe me I'm pretty unhappy about the situation.
Provisioning EC2 GPU instances and the like and writing the grammars.
I have a wallet with ~2,400BTC and I forgot my encryption passphrase. It was >400 chars and I know most of it but I'm making some mistake somewhere in my recall. If the value keeps going up I'm going to have to get serious about cracking that wallet.

That has already started check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teledildonics
This would be amazing.
As far as fiction that's similar check out Black Mirror:

What about consistent and hygienic gourmet food for the cost of a Big Mac? I think the proported high quality of these roboticly produced burgers is a big selling point. Fast food is awful and unhealthy maybe automation can give us healthy and tasty food both quickly and cheaply.
There is no download link if javascript is disabled on a User's browser.
Source code?
What about me? I bought Assassins Creed 3 on steam last week and ordered an xbox360 controller for PC from Amazon. I had the game downloaded and everything ready to go to have a relaxing day of gaming this Saturday. The problem came when I was required to create a UPlay account in order to open my game. Ubisoft's servers were down and I was not able to create an account or play the game. I spent a couple precious hours of my Saturday dealing with their incompetence and then gave up and decided to pirate the game.
I was not very pleased at this point and walked in to my office where we have a 1Gbit connection. I proceeded to torrent the game and grabbed Farcry 3 as well because, fuck em. This took about 45 minutes of downloading. I walked home and was playing 15 minutes later. Ubisoft is forever on my To-Pirate list for brazenly wasting my time on their pointless DRM.
I don't think I fit in your narrow categories.
PS: I spend about 200$/month on paid iTunes Content.
Can someone fill me in as to why google would pay money for Groupon? I'm genuinely curious. This price surge and 'speculation' seems like a nice time to dump stock if you have it.
Agreed, It also looks like it would be easily defeated by aluminum foil. I read about a phone thief that uses a faraday caged bag to snatch iPads and iPhones.[1]
I remember reading about this on HN a couple months ago when the Field Trip app came out. Some android developer found the new API embedded in that app.
I'll try and find the link.
Here it is: http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4646039
This announcement doesn't speak to the 100 people that ordered the 'Unassembled Prototype'. I'm in this group and wondering when I will be getting my prototype to play with.
What if I utilize an RC plane on my property up to 490ft. Does that extend my rights? Say I have RC drones that regularly patrol at ~400ft the perimeter of my property.
The way Glass sits on your face would not allow this, danellis is correct.
Why does it need so many fuses?
Sadly it seems to require an invite at this time. :(
Light or Vibration were both of my guesses as well. I personally think that wireless is better. The new Fibit syncs over bluetooth 4.0 and it uses very little power while doing so.
Apparently it is still not sold out.
I had an order for a 16GB go through and got a receipt in my email just now. @ 2:10PMEST.
I refreshed the page repeatedly until the string "Add to Cart" was found in place of "Notify". When this happened my browser window popped up and I got a notification from OS X notification center saying it was time to fill out my order. It worked flawlessly.
Got a 16GB at 1:10pm CST by refreshing the page every 2 seconds and stopping when "Notify" was replaced with "Add to Cart". Sorry Google.
I'm so very glad, in a selfish way, that there is so much pessimism toward 3D printing. More money for the cunning.
The bulk of my experience with recruiters has been quite negative.
Cool Idea! I've been working on my own version of this since Nov, 2010. I have my own implementation and right now I'm trying to integrate it with my EEG for even less friction. Mine logs Sms, E-mail, Twitter, Facebook, Banking, Computer activity, etc and aggregates them all looking for the moments worth recollecting. I could never see my software running on a non-private infrastructure as it pretty much contains every detail of my life from what I eat to my sleep patterns and where I am at any moment.
Both other posters in this thread are one hour old. People should really quit astroturfing. It is getting annoying.
White men.
Has anyone considered that women just aren't as interested in tech entrepreneurship as men are?
