Somewhat unrelated. Advertisers dont want their to be a clear distinction anymore. Hell pretty soon the most effective marketing strategy wont be shameless plugs but offhanded ones. Ones that sneak in like oh hey yeah I was using x the other day and it helped me with y. Once gun manufactuers catch up it might look something like: popular social media user offhandedly mentions purchase of lgun, posts some pictures firing gun, learning gun safety, talks about how much fun they had. Itll be hard to censor and I wouldnt be shocked.

Is there evidence supporting Google denies diverse hires of the same skill levels at others in the position? Or is this just a byproduct of our countries failures and all the best computer scientist applying at Google are actually white males? Should Google attempt to diversity hire less skilled individuals for the sake of changing the status quo? Would that even change the status quo?

Skype died before the acquisition for me personally. Platform just wasnt closed enough to pull the types of things they were pulling. Nobody wants to pay per call for voip, or subscription model for a service that hasnt demonstrated any improvement.

I am a peer leader on Wayne State, the university inside Detroit, I dedicate a lot of my time to trying to organize students to come together and accomplish tasks. However no, I do not work for the city of Detroit, why do you ask?

Hi I'm from Detroit, I love seeing my city talked about. A lot of people are claiming decline of residents as a lack of proof of revival. Heres a counterpoint: https://www.google.com/amp/s/techcrunch.com/2017/07/10/detro...

Detroit is spectacular for many reasons. We have retained and nurtured our resources from before the decline such as our art museum, libraries and ISPs (not the consumer ones). In the midst of our decline for some reason downtown detroit developed some kind of renaissance, despite the decline people decided to cling harder to things like the eastern market, architecture, and art. We are full of things like artistic movie theaters, plays, public displays, interesting cuisine, and startups. Yet you will not find a theater showing avengers, or a traditional supermarket until you get to around dearborn. There are also many quirks in the worse parts of Deteoit, a huge spread of people instead of concentrations, and many people taking what we have left behind to make something. I have visited every major city in the US outside of california and New York and I have never seen anything like detroit. We have somehow through disparity been blessed with the ability to be almost meritocratic, the amount of opportunities and equality In have experienced coming from a lower class, and the genuine people that remain is what I imagine to be higher than other cities. Anecdotally of course.

Assuming he didnt lie about the exchange of words, this guy could be a homeless person make believing hes getting hired as ceo of google and this interview would still be an affront to proper advancement. You cannot possibly justify making a quiz that asks about kill in unix and doesnt accept SIGKILL ~literally kill with SIGTERM the default. If you are looking for the default level (15) you should specify. If this interview actually happened the way this guy says it did, Google is making terrible mistakes. I know first semester 2 year networking degree students that would have scored higher than this guy. Seriously people should be appalled at the inadequacy of that interview. Respect lost.
