1. man2html

and 2. i think it's gnome devhelp.

there's an app too.

it's too bad distributions themselves promote googling everything.

Also, don't overemphasize thinking. It has already been done by people that are much (much) smarter than you.

Also, you cannot outscan people with millions of dollars at their disposal with the only intent that you cannot make any money yourself from your ideas...

...especially when they are good.

(please disregard the bitter tone.)

Not actually true, those pm's need to be reimplemented in nix/scheme.

But I get your point.

Salt, Black Widow, Lucy,

Salt was not that good (backpedaling from trash -- it wasn't that bad), but the lead was for a man, if that contributes to the conversation...

Lucy was trash, and I wont relent from that without hard evidence.

Not because of the cast or other movie related things, but because it would have been better as a sentence.

For such a supposedly revolutionary advancement.

The technology is objectively not ready, at least to keep the promises that are/have been advertised.

I am not going to get too opinionated, but this seems to be a widespread theme, and to people that don't respond to marketing advances (remember Tivo?), but are willing to spend real money and real time, it would be "nice" if there was signalling to this demographic.

Do you also have:

1. Statically linked executables (essential but not crucial)

2. Dependency management (import tripleo.rtfm from "git:...#1234567")

3. A good AST API (jdt/roaster, javapoet, etc)

4. Tooling (cf spoon/soot)

(I approve this comment, even given it's limited usefulness/expressivity)

Niagara Launcher 2 years ago

Big coincidence, I just switched to Niagara, complaint: too much scrolling, no auto updates.

I like it better than Oasis (which I might be confusing for something else), complaint: too minimal.

My go to for years was Square Home, great until last years' reinstall, then something (I forget), which was prob a combination of my fault and Android whatever it's on now (maybe 11).

My only other (notable) like is Smart Launcher, which is honestly great except for all the "cloud integration" stuff.

Not useless, but pointless. Gives vibes of adult coloring (books). Thank you.
