I'm a long-time user of Firefox Vim add-ons, but I agree that they just don't cut it any more. The best Vim-based browsing experience is currently offered by Vieb, IMO. It even has robust window-splitting tools, just like Vim.

There are lots of ways to contribute to open source projects like OpenBSD, though there's always a risk that helpful but tedious work is neglected. This seems both helpful and tedious, and thus I think it's a great idea.
In science, we cannot cite our intuition or anecdotal experience as firm and reliable evidence for any phenomenon. One outgrowth of this is that good science is not just about investigating something that is likely to be surprising, it is about checking our intuitions in a more systematic and structured manner.

Their study of adolescents[1] did not use a control group. This is an issue, as adolescent executive performance is likely naturally improving over time, and said improvement may be non-linear.
