Sanders can't even get good internet or phone connectivity in his own State. He's accomplished little to nothing in Vermont and has pretty much been MIA for the last 6 years. Thinking that he can get anything done at a National scale (let alone International scale) is a joke.
Switch to edibles and gradually reduce the dosage, (which is hard or impossible with smoking). You'll start to crave it less and prefer the more moderate (and different) high from edibles than being stoned from smoking. From this stage, you'll be in a better position to stop altogether if you want too.

The most surprising one for me is DMX. There is a lot of repetition in his songs, though I remember thinking that he was a solid lyricist spitting bars much more complex than his beats, which are certainly a bit more mundane.
My 2 cents for beginners, most of these are covered in the article:
1. Get a flying-v or CamRock - makes turning easier and will hold an edge better until you figure out how to carve.
2. Don't put your feet perpendicular to the board, you want some angle, 30° Front, 15° Back. It will make it easier to square your shoulders down the hill and get your weight on the front of your edge.
3. Start on a Blue slope. Seriously. I hate seeing beginners exhausting themselves on green slopes straining to get enough speed to get on edge and then catching the opposite edge because there is not enough slope.
Third that. This book is incredible and gripping. There is no soft intro, you are thrown into the story from the first paragraph.

My terminology is going to be off because its been a while, but if they are serious have them sign a term sheet, that has a exit clause; if for some reason the deal falls through they reimburse you for the time spent. If they are serious about the deal they will sign it, a 500K exit clause, as an example, is small change to a 6b company but can mean alot to a small startup. I know this does not help with your current situation, but might be useful for people reading who will find themselves in an acquisition.
I was on a bus over from Montreal, we were all in a big room after they had emptied the bus. One guy was born in Cuba and was Canadian now. The border guard asked him how he got to Canada? The guy says 'What do you mean?', and the border guard replies, 'How did you get to Canada, did you swim over?' Another guy had gotten a DUI in '79 in Canada, and the Guard was asking him about it in front of everyone. No joke, these guys may be doing their job, but they are a bunch of assholes, even to US citizens, and they are outside the law - you can be detained indefinitely at a border crossing without any probable cause, US citizen or not.
