There definitely is an echo chamber, but not related to the existence of ChatGPT and other AI technologies (even the "menial" laborers I know being relatively aware of it, and my parents and family members frequently talking about it in the context of deepfakes/cheating (at school)/automation/healthcare.

Common reactions to ChatGPT and a lot of the fear are definitely overemphasized in the tech field, but that makes sense.

It looks like it was founded in New York, but in general the process is just making a new American corporation and transferring the French corporation (or its assets) to the American one, and dissolving the French one. Also, getting work visas for your employees and hoping that the bureaucracies don't affect you/deny you/remove your work visas after being accepted.

It's unclear, but as we've seen in normal IPOs of this calibre (e.g. Slack, Pintrest, Fastly), probably next month.

To be fair, those are cheaper because they want to make you more reliant on AWS and because those are more idyllic for Amazon to run, as with Lyft. Same with AWS Activate and etc.

But for most people, it's simpler to just use them and get it over with, and I'm glad it worked for you.

What do you have against Stripe? Normally, and I believe it does in Italy, it supports sole proprietors. Otherwise, use Square, Gumroad, Amazon Payments, Authorize.net, or any other payment processor. Paypal.me would normally be good, but in the event of refunds, you are still liable for the 2.9% + 30c fee typically assessed on transactions, and they can freeze your account at any time. I assume that in Europe, as they are registered as a bank, they are required to have more accountability, but I'm not sure.

Are you looking for a one stop solution like Gumroad or something more like Stripe?
