No, I wouldn’t show up to work. I could invest it conservatively and live off of that forever.

The company I work for switched from redmine to jira few years ago, after using redmine since 2009 or so. It was a really bad decision spearheaded by a single project manager.

I miss redmine. I hate having to see the constant interstitial loading animation in Jira. And working through small modals. Just load the damn page for the link I clicked on. All the “single page application” junk is rarely executed well. But I can’t say that it or I’m a dinosaur. Sorry the rant.

I use 125% on HN with a 23" 1920x1080 monitor. HN text is comically small.

You might try sorting the countries in your select input. They appear to be in some random order and I almost gave up looking for the country I was interested in.

And target dates usually have a higher expense ratio than funds like VTI. So you keep more of your investment income by doing it manually.

It's proposing the idea that you can't see anything in a mirror that is facing around the corner from you. Venus is reflecting the Sun's light to you on the night-side of Earth, just like a mirror reflects an image to you even though you can't physically see around a corner.

Think of it as Venus orbiting inside Earth's orbit, but not directly between the Earth and the Sun at the time you can see Venus.

Nice, I have never seen that model. I wear the DB-36[1]. I've tried many other watches, but I always come back to this model. Love it.

Not that I could find. I remember trying to use an alternative email even, but it was my back up email on Facebook and it linked them automatically.

I've noticed this amongst my family. The cousins, etc I have under 16 either don't have a facebook account or abandoned shortly after creating it. It's "uncool" because their parents see everything they do on there -- I know you can customize your sharing, but I doubt they know or care to be that careful on Facebook.

Unfortunately, this is why I don't use IG. I want to, but it seems impossible for me to keep it out of my Facebook like I want to. FB always pops up with "look what your friends are doing on IG" and I don't want my photography to be plastered in front of my grandparents.

If you're compiling firefox on the same single disk that stores your mail, mu4e is going to take multiple seconds just to go to the next thread.

I don't know what kind of machine you're using, but that's not true for any CPU/disk from the last 8 years or so.
