Evernote works well for me. It fully syncs all my notes between 2 devices. Those are my home and work computers. That's good enough for me.

If I want to look at a note on a mobile device, I use a browser in desktop mode. However I only had to do this a handful of times in all the years they went down to 2 device syncing.

No. Voice recognition is useless for me. Why talk to a computer when it makes mistakes getting correctly everything I say. Imagine an office were everyone is talking to their computer. It's noisy and silly.

With ChatGPT where it finds answers where a normal Google search is not very helpful, I find ChatGPT very helpful. I pasted some code I didn't understand to it and it explained to me what it does. That was very cool. Google would not have been able to help me.

If my price range is 21 - 45, I don't want to fiddle with a double tick slider dragging it pixelwise to get to the exact numbers I want. People keep saying it's missing this feature and missing that. People use note taking apps in many different ways. If an app has all the features, it wouldn't be a free open source one by a single developer. I would make it a commercial one and compete with apps like EverNote. Even EverNote has issues.

While Rider might be a nice IDE, it can't use Visual Studio extensions. I use some commercial ones which increase my productivity. I can't see myself not using Visual Studio. I use the Enterprise version of VS. There's no other IDE with all the features I have.

Stackoverflow is an awesome place to get help for programming questions. Except for the morons who roam in it downvoting all kinds of questions and they never leave a comment to as why they are downvoting. Even when requested to.

Just recently I posted a question in meta for why one of my questions was being downvoted. That question in meta got a flurry of downvotes! Stupid moronic downvoters. It is a hostile place but I will use it as long as I get answers.

I will continue to use Evernote however it has two major flaws:

1- No way to resolve the conflicting changes. It puts the conflicting document in the conflicting changes folder and you're on your own to find out what changes are conflicting. They don't provide a side by side comparison. Any developer knows what I am talking about. A way to resolve merge conflict resolution.

- It doesn't do partial text searches. Say you have a phone number like 9067372823 and you only remember the first 3 digits. You search for 906 and you get zero results! It's a lame search Evernote uses. I heard excuses from other users about performance issues. Screw that excuse. Users don't have tens or million of text they are searching for. Computers are very fast in searches.

We've been complaining about these issues for YEARS and the heavy lazy ass Evernote company hasn't done anything to add these important features. Everytime I get an update hoping they have a fix and they don't.
