What the US needs is more available and unregulated and unrestricted funding for startups and not what currently exists which is a huge un-American moat blocking any new businesses in the tech space.
When an organization reaches a certain level of wealth they become what amounts to as lawyers. Placing money in areas that demonstrate their understanding of the situation even if it may result in potential losses strengthens their brand and reputation.

The entire medical system when it comes to the court system is unbelievable. I live in one of the largest medical centered cities in America.
Yet I had multiple doctors tell me and did things to me other doctors told me should be considered medical malpractice.
When I went to try to sue I found there's literally one judge who could deal with it but they refuse to even try to deal with my case in the court system.
Then the doctors try to shame me for dealing with my issues without taking the meds which the Doctors themselves told me would make my situation worse.
Instead I get a ride through Charlie's Chocolate factory showing me how America works.
Maybe don’t bully anyone unrelated to your organization until active shooters become a regular occurrence at their own office building.

Developing expensive areas seems like an effort in refinement, not as an actual monetary investments.
Something I've had issues with time series has been having to use relatively custom models.
It's difficult to use off the shelf tools when starting with math models.
It shouldn't there's a lot of ways to use web components anyone with years of experience with objective programming should feel extremely at home. Where as react requires a lot of unnecessary overhead associated with security risks.
Oh please. If we are going to complain about anything free and built into the standard it would be server side events which barely work at best.
Personally I wouldn't mind server rendered features like what react does but in the setting of not javascript.
