I would refine this advice to "sarcasm is never appropriate in an uneven power dynamic." Whether it's in the context of parenting, teaching or managing people. As a go-to form of humor, I've learned this the hard way. It's not actually helpful for folks to hear the hilarious monologue going on in my head when I'm feeling salty. There _are_ legitimately relationship-building funny things to say, but they're usually self-effacing and, at best, complementary to others.

This can not be overemphasized in my opinion. The natural result of Atheistic Naturalism is, to me, nihilism and its accompanying depression, so I would encourage an honest examination of your worldview and an openness to faith that provides a sense of purpose.

So, this is a funny way to acknowledge that global capitalism is really that good. Not only can it provide "bounty," but other, non-capitalist systems may be propped up by its success. It seems ironic that "justly spread" and "global capitalism" are in the same sentence, and not being contrasted.

So, they had to have access to the backbone somehow. Is this possible for an individual rural location? Or even a small community in the U.S.? Do backbone providers have to give you access? Are the rates at all reasonable?

The construction of her acronym shows how brilliant (and snarky about acronyms) she truly is.
