I think Yahoo will buy Bing within 3 months after MSFT brings in the new CEO. MSFT will be more focused on the enterprise market and Yahoo will use Bing to fight google.

It is never too late. If you think some more about the bar code idea. These are actually couple more ideas related to this that you can expand and it will be even bigger than redlaser. For example, if you get the bar code for a book, it will display review and so you can determine whether to buy it or not. On the same line of thinking, you will find out that you can do even more once you "identify" the object by the bar code... email me. I am interested in building something similar.

On a side note, anybody interests in doing a startup related to affiliate and/or rebates? I have an idea and I want to talk to somebody about it and hopefully the idea is good enough to create a startup.

Meanwhile, you need to becareful about the timeline widget. We used it before but it did not scale up to couple thousand points. I think at the end, you need to write your own timeline widget.

I am switching to bing as well. The result is as good as google and I am happy. The way Google handles the whole adsense stuff just make me sick.

agree. You need to look into Hadoop HDFS. (a GFS clone...)

on a side note. where is the best price for domain renew? I have about 50 domains need to renew. Gogaddy is about 9$ per renew.
