I doubt most buyers of iPhone care about what port they use. It’s more likely due to really not much exciting things happening in recent updates
No they are not. I talk to my family often on Facetime
By that logic 100m dashing should be abondoned after the invention of cars.
So the material looks identical with other grocery store clippers. I guess the curved file was slightly nicer? I mean my $2 clipper has served me 2 years without hints of becoming dull anytime soon. I don't understand the appeal of this other than its exotic Japanese background.
What is this, a browser? Why do I need a new browser?
Old white man can be right some time too.
I did it early this year, finished on April 15th. I was not an avid runner by any means, onlyed picked up running around Sept 2020, started from daily walking only. You can absolutely do that, and it will feel awesome after you achieved it
Well assuming they do that, likely they will host websites on AWS or Azure. Then AWS is down, what are you gonna do?
Your idea is the most Taliban idea I've heard.
Misleading title. The official names the 4 potential reasons as "the theories to be investigated", not like these 4 reasons were conclusion of the investigation. Completely 2 different things.
Source: other articles on the same piece of news, including the ones in Chinese.
Enough of these political posts on HN. If I want to see them I would head to r/news or NY Times. Strongly opinionated conclusion supported by piecemeal information aiming to inspire meaningless online battles with strangers? No thanks.
Since when is "democracy" the golden standard for every culture and every country? Politics are all about trade-offs, among efficiency, centralized power, poverty to solve, nationality and defence, and many other aspects. Democracy can be beneficial but it sucks at so many things, and it's normally short-sighted. Is Singapore, with less democratic system, not as "legitimate" as the U.S.? Your opinion sounds like a 5-yr old talking about politics.
...that escalated quickly. Ant's business model is under the hood good old lending and banking, where their "innovation" excels at minimizing the barrier to spend your future money. This is not like Google or Microsoft, whose products are purely technology, this is a glorified financial company. And the more money they raise, the larger / crazier scale their lending will affect. Just to give you a hint, their "savings account" equivalent has way higher interest rate than the national banks, but with same level of account numbers if not more, that would need consistently piling money to sustain. Essentially they will become "too big to fail" if the IPO goes through, and you know how that went in 2008.
Yeah I guess Xi and co are scared, but for a different reason. Nothing about the foreign policies or whatever you think "freedom" is.
You would think if China does something like this they might do a better job keeping it a secret. Any links to a credible source? All I find is "Hundreds of document" and opinions of some "Experts". And again, Adrian Zenz, who is by no means "independent", just check the guy's track record.
Heresay is always popular I guess. Unless you have proof.
My take is that these markets can only take on China when the Chinese software is the significant player in the market, while they are non-essential for the fundamental functionality of a society. On the other hand, there are barely any significant Indian software on the Chinese market, while lots of American software provide non-replicable (at least not immediately) functionality (e.g. MatLab / Microsoft Office / Windows).
Most people are not trained to trade options with pressing a button. Many Robinhood users don't fully understand what the order they just placed mean, just look at r/wallstreetbets. Robinhood is pushing alcohol to minors in a sense.
I agree. A good portion of the 40m job loss are not gonna be fully recovered even if the situation improved a little, not to mention it is getting worse by the day.
Yeah Atlanta had a similar "dip" period earilier, with many offers cancelled and investors on the sideline. Maybe the "reopen" gave people confidence? I'm afraid it is still too early to tell so I don't want to jump in too fast.
I mean listing price is the most direct measure of the market temporature, not saying it's 100% accurate but it does represent the sentiment. Mortgage rate is indeed low, but not that significant compared to before (< 1% compared to 6 month ago I think).
I'm hesitating to bid because 1) price is still high 2) unemployment benefits will run out in 2 months, and I do think teh COVID effects have a long tail, that takes time to pan out. Thus the curiosity about the thought behind the "hot" market right now.
I'm not sure how it compared year-to-year, but at the beginning of the COVID thing, house prices did drop a little with quite some offers cancelled (even pending ones, according to some of my agent friends).
As a passive real estate investor I'm seeing bidding on new sales has actually been more competitive than ever in my area (Atlanta GA). A lot of houses are selling above asking prices with 8-10 offers on the table. I am not sure if people genuinely think it is a good time to buy, or is it mostly FOMO.
Taiwan is a region and a very important one, no one was denying that, even the Chinese government. The dispute was on what a country means and it has complicated historical reasons on both sides. Same thing goes for why Guam and California are not the same political entities among the US, or why Spain doesn't recognize Catalonia.
Don't be ignorant and try to judge on things you don't fully understand.
I just do a bunch of markdown files in a private github repo. There are a lot of great markdown editors to make the writing experience pleasant (I use typora https://typora.io/), plus text analysis is easy given it is just plain text file.
I found Android Auto dangerous because it works great normally, but when it stops working I tend to get a little panicking and intuitively try to "Fix" it while I'm driving. And that happened too often so I quit using it all together.
This. The misleading title seems to point to a completely different conclusion deliberately.
That's assuming you know when the drop will stop, otherwise it is the worst opportunity.
FYI GTK apps look native now under plasma 5.18
Let's assume what you said is true. In the first case, the person being diagnosed will know if he/she was in fact infected, and will be told to stay at home if so, so less potential public harm. The second case is way worse.
