I applied a few weeks back for the Customer Champion position off the previous Who Is Hiring thread, and even sent a follow-up email, and no response either time.

I believe that's what they do. When I cracked my screen, I had someone contact me immediately from iCracked that said they could come out to me and fix my screen. The price was about double what the Apple store ended up doing it for but I thought the service and response time was very good, but the price just seemed steep ($200 for iPhone 6 screen replacement - Apple did it for $100).
Here's are a few great videos I've watched -
Location: Phoenix, AZ looking to transition to the Bay Area
Remote: Yes
Willing to Relocate: To Bay Area preferably, but open
Technologies: Sales/Biz Dev, Product, Marketing, Customer Experience
Resume: https://www.linkedin.com/in/timhargis
Email: timhargisaz [at] gmail [dot] com
Other: Started a few smaller successful companies that were acquired. I can bring alot of value in areas of sales/biz dev, marketing, customer experience. Proven track record. Ultimate team player, very personable, great at building relationships with a get-it-done-at-all-costs approach towards work and startups.
Applied for the Real Estate Transaction Coordinator position through the Greenhouse link. Became interested in the startup after hearing Keith speak about it pre-launch at the Collision Conference last year in Vegas.
Zero to One by Peter Thiel
Highly recommend. Not an easy read but full of great insight by Thiel.
Best article I've read on this that's free.
I've been on CoFounders Lab and Founder Dating and there are some quality people on the sites but nothing meaningful ever materialized. Had some Skype chats with a few people but it's always "let's keep our options open and keep in touch," which obviously we all know means nothing will ever come of it. I haven't found alot of people who are serious and committed to building something. It seems like alot of people "exploring" building a startup on the side, or it's something they're considering in the future. I haven't spent much time on Angel List so I'm curious to see how that is.
I'm a Non-Technical co-founder and it's a little annoying when technical founders think and act like people like myself can't bring alot to the table, when we've had previous successful companies before.
This happened to me with Uber X. The driver was in an MLM company and was pitching me on it. He was a nice guy and I gave him 5 stars but I thought it was out of line to be pitching network marketing to your passengers, and he said that was the main reason he drove for Uber was to meet people.
Checked out your site - awesome work!
I'm not in the Bay Area and am in Phoenix? Would this still apply?
Great product. I was on the pre-order list at $1299 and was disappointed to then get an email a month ago saying the price went up to $2000.
Outside of that, awesome job on the product. Looks great.
Hexxa.com
Started with a developer who was local and we all worked together for a period of time. He then decided to move and although we've continued to work together remotely, I'd venture to say it's been about 40% as effective as when we were all together. It's not that it doesn't work, it's just alot harder than being in person in the early stages, IMO.
Were they TechStars?
Tried to "apply" and logged in through LinkedIn and it says "something went wrong."
So what does a user need to have for you to be able to track their eye movement?
Wonder if this will really hurt clarity.fm - really like that site. Dan Martell did an awesome job. I've used it on a number of occasions and had great experiences with the people I've spoken to.
Well it's never going to be SV but when some other companies such as Ebay, Paypal, etc. went to Chandler and opened up offices, this helped other tech companies take notice and it's grown considerably over the past few years. I'm not implying it's going to attract other major tech companies to come to Mesa, but to get Apple to come is a big step in the right direction. If you would have said that a few years ago, people would have laughed. (including me)
I grew up in Mesa and it's nice to see this happen here. Phoenix isn't a large tech hub and by Apple putting this plant in Mesa, this will help put it on the map (on a smaller scale)
No, it's pretty simple to figure out what to wear just looking out the window and seeing what the weather is...
Spotify, Hulu and Adobe CC. Spotify hands down is the best $10 a month I spend.
Doing an entrepreneur boot camp style event for younger people over 4 weeks with a number of awesome entrepreneurs. When I originally put it out I got a lot of applications and most were older and "traditional business" owners so we decided to restructure the event and I'm going to limit it to younger entrepreneurs which is what I was hoping for initially and who the content was most geared towards.
Not sure on this issue. Email phoebe@livrada.com and she can help you out and get it fixed. I bought the books but I don't run the e-delivery side.
I've bought a number of domains aftermarket before - all .com. I think .com is important if you can get it a reasonable price but not at the expense of other more important things centered around building the actual product itself.
If your company grows the .com name only goes up in perceived selling value then...ala Facebook, Dropbox, etc.
A lot of people on HN are used to different extensions because that's the world we live in but the general public is used to .coms so I agree that it depends on your audience but if it's a consumer mass market product, I think .com is important. I've spent up to $5000 on different names and I've always been able to get them for about 30-40% of asking price.
Sure. I'll post how many were redeemed. I'm guessing about 100 so far just from glancing at the list.
Ya no doubt. Awesome book...
Email phoebe@livrada.com to see if she can help.
That's weird. Just use another one. Don't worry about it - email phoebe@livrada.com if it doesn't work. She'll fix it...
For sure - enjoy it...it's a good book.
