These benchmarks are about the cost of transpilation (where ES6 support is not native).

This one is actually Universal ("Isomorphic" if you want), check https://www.reindex.io/ for example.

Tried to open from Chrome Developer Tools, it crashed it on hover too.

While I'd LOVE WordPress to be run on Node, don't forget FB runs on PHP, and they're investing in React.

Anyway, there's no way they could lose (too much) control. The "native" part of the apps is still subject to resubmission. The "react native" part is mostly UI layer/composition and business logic.

Not sure how many React Native projects are hosting their bundles outside theirs apps in the wild, but there are already apps released on the store (as per Facebook Groups, Ads Manager).

Still, I agree things might change (on the Apple's side).

Ndrangheta is not in Naples, organized crimes has different names in different parts of the southern Italy. That unfortunately doesn't change the fact that we have organized crime in Naples (Camorra). And I'm sorry and sad to say it but northern Italy has been reached by organized crime a long time ago (they have different businesses, they work in different ways, but they are there).

We're scratching our own itch and we're building Pushline

It's an Android to Mac/PC notification mirroring and device control app.

Still in some sort of public beta, accepting feedbacks, enjoying the engineering challenge behind it, figuring out what matters most to us in order to build it next.

We started working on the same issue that Pushbullet addresses long before we discovered it (or even before iOS8 was announced). We continued scratching out itch (both on an engineer and product side).

We do not match 1:1 Pushbullet's features, we worked on our version from scratch (I'm pretty sure we both took advantage of the same APIs).

In our approach we focused on "pairing" devices with a simple/secure token, with no accounts needed (we do not require G+ account in order to register). We probably (still) address a subset of Pushbullet's features but still providing some other useful ones (as for our use cases) such as:

Phone "control", Device location, a simple Chrome Extension where you can keep track of your notifications (and interact with your Phone).

I'm pretty sure Pushbullet would do the same but we do not store any data and just "push" it between devices over secure channels.

Hope I gave you a more detailed view of what I meant.
