I have come to the same conclusion, especially in regards to anything affecting digestion, from food poisoning, campylobacter, salmonella, giardia, to any gut parasites or just bad bacteria. It can change your gut physiology, mess with enzyme production long term, fucking up your diet by reducing the kinds of foods you can eat. There's also the possibility of bowel cancer pathways via such diseases, which I read is currently under investigation.

I took a good long look at the CMB picture, including the caption. It basically says the Universe was one big hot apparently uniform ball at one stage.

I don't know what conditions were like before that stage, but like Eric Idle says, nothing can come from nothing.

Dark energy is a horse shit name for a theory that was horse shit to begin with. The Universe is probably just inhomogeneous, like your intuition is saying.

As an aside, I see you're referring to Al as merely LLMs, which I appreciate and applaud.

I am thinking of calling them just 'LMs' for short, as they come in varying sizes.

Or even AlMs, just to troll the Al moniker, and how they give alms to the rich.

I imagine this making more sense if this were framed with the backdrop of living in an authoritarian state, with progressively worsening social conditions.

You can choose to protest (blue button) and if over some threshold of people then conditions reset. Otherwise protestors are killed off, and red buttoners survive, but with increased oppression.

Sorry for bringing the mood down with this topic. I'll go back to playing Papers Please! now.

There's a commercial building under construction next to my office. I look down on the construction site, and those strapping young men are digging with their big excavators they've been using for years and taking away the dirt with truck and trailer.

Why use a spade? Even those construction workers use the right sized tools. They ain't stupid.

OT but, the style. The journey. What is it? What does this remind me of?

Flowers for Algernon.

Or at least the first half. I don't wanna see what it looks like when AI capabilities start going in reverse.

But I want to know.
