Well i would counter that by saying most code has been autocompleted for a while. At this point in software development history, discussing the size of commits is a null discussion :).

Yeah, i have come to a similar conclusion. It is also very clear that academic papers are unless simple enough to be understood (like word2vec) they rarely make it to production.
Having spent some time in trying to do style transfers, this looks very promising.
The harmonization aspect of the paper actually makes it very useful. There certainly are cases where you want to introduce an image component as an overlay and want the style to integrate.
This is misleading, however I would like to point out that if Small Bites == Kaizen. Then, Prolific Engineers like any other prolific professionals may be Kizening the crap out of their codebases. No data here either to back the smart ones up though.
Actually, this is a really great question! It is quite a bit of data to bother saving yourself till you actually get to a scale to make use of it. Now that the internet business is fairly mature, the specific use cases for high quality data has exploded.
I would like to argue that its usually a lack of frameworks (and lack of dev resources) to enable this, due to which people do not store all this data. AWS and others are cheap enough machine abstractions which with the right framework (like us) may let you store this data without (too much) work.
