His next company knows that he will do the same for them.

I guess they made a deal Thiel gets to be king of Earth and Musk gets Mars. The whole surplus people talk is scary asf.
If the result of a left wing twitter is what we have now I don’t wanna see what’s going to happen if he does what he says.
Do you also know what data they primary process?
Reads like it was written by GPT3 with a bad geeky reference prompt.
As if the gains in the last two years were anything but artificial…

eh... if the only way for you to increase profits is to cut costs you have a problem that will accelerate after you have nothing more to cut.
lol not like the us could do the same.
This is fine.
foone doesn't like hackernews so I guess OP meant to show "respect" to foone and not link their stuff here.
The centralization is not the problem, the problem in Russia is that a single individual wants to force its will over the ones of many. People are scared to voice their opinion and you are painting it as something desirable. Talk about individualism. What a lot of people and you miss to understand is that the majority is made up of individuals it's not an abstract mass it's a lot of real people that collectivly tell you to get lost.
That's the whole point I am all for subduing individuals for the greater good. If it's possible I don't know but never should a single person have power of many.
There is a net positive for the rule of majority instead of the individual rule. You can see it just now in russia.
Yes, you are right I despise people like you.
Not everyone can just relocate I can't believe that's the only argument people in this thread come up with.
California has the exact same problem I described it's not that the overall governance is the problem it's usually on local levels like the San Francisco DA or the LA county labour board...
It's easier to put out one fire instead of thousands.
You seem to have absolutely no experience with the governance of rural America and the abuse of it. Just look how Scientology or the Mormon church are taking over cities. There is no way to fight back if a giant entity with money and questionable morality decides to get involved.
Yes, you are living in le cyberspace.
sunk cost fallacy?
I don't know mate you are talking in circles there is no HiDPI option if you are not on a built-in or 4k+ screen. The OP of the comment thread and the OP of the topic are talking about using a feature that was never public and had to be enabled on the command line. They just disabled this workaround. You also don't understand the feature itself and you are also not understanding why it's bad as an impaired user to base your workflow on unsupported hacks. Here are the accessibility overviews for macOS and Windows [0] [1] and there is no mention of HiDPI in it because it's not an accessibility feature. I really hope you are trolling but no matter if you are or not this is my last post in this comment thread.
Ps: You can save your passive aggressive undertone for reddit.

It’s not about fonts did you even understand the article? Yikes mate at least try to understand about what you are arguing instead of going all emotional.
Yeah, look up some videos of Teslas Autopilot in the rain... it's not pretty.
One is sharp and one is either tiny or a blurry mess. I honestly believe you don't know what HiDPI is or does different to a normal resolution change maybe this easy to understand blog post can help https://blog.elementary.io/what-is-hidpi/
Ofc... we could also start using an established technical term for something completely different. Looking at you USB 3.X O_O
Changing resolution ≠ HiDPI scaling
It’s all fine mate and I am not telling anyone what to do I am telling someone that he uses a feature in a way it was not intended. So if he needs an accessibility feature like HiDPI he should ask for it instead of basing his workflow on something that can go away in a whim because it was a workaround in the first place.
There is zoom available under accessibility in the settings.HiDPI is not and never was intended as a accessibility feature. You want a feature like HiDPI for accessibility but that supposed to be feature is not HiDPI.
I don’t get it you need a high resolution monitor to use HiDPI… HiDPI is inherently a feature for small physical size but high resolution screens.
I don't know I am a creative working with agency contacts of facebook and then whole industry was pretty excited about the metaverse, I was not but aside from that there is just no progress at all. No communications, no real updates for the alpha nothing.
