So the majority of crypto donations were from Ukrainians on Kuna exchange; hardly a prime example of global crypto's good will. Also $100M is kind of small when you consider it next to the $14B congress has promissed to Ukraine. Then consider the total $1.5T sticker price of the congressional spending bill that $14B was a part of and it all seems insignificant.

In short we can and should give more to Ukraine.

It also might have been confusing to moderators that when someone called me a shill i took the opportunity to double down(for comedy reasons), though i think i did say i was a shill for “rotten scam-coins”. Im not a crypto bro. I dont post much, but i would like to be able to post(on my iphone) when i feel like it. I will try to be more discerning in the future.

I have multiple devices and multiple accounts. It seems kind of silly if this is against the rules. The mods on r/buttcoin are not adhearing to a an actual rule base if all the hankypanky i read there on a refular basis is an indicator. I just would like to air my grievance for what i feel like is a cyber assault. It just seems arbitrary and antidemocratic. There just shouting one-liners and banning people left and right. -------

Consciousness is such a loaded word, and means something different depending on who you are talking to. For instance surgeons & anesthesiologists have a very peculiar definition of what it means to be conscious(ie conscious sedation); regular people might not agree it meets the minimum criterion of being awake and aware of yourself. I think a more important goal if we are designing artificial life might be whether or not an AI is conscientious(like morally).

Why not keep the pee and poop mixed, and use it to harvest biomethane? Effluent can still be used as fertilizer after capturing the gas.

Im pretty sure Chen is naturalized, otherwise i dont think he would have been allowed back in the country. TLDR, he applied for gov grant money, and failed to disclose foreign offiliations(in China). He refused to unlock his laptop to agents after taking it on a trip to China, and later when he was offered a plea deal so he could return to work, he refused to cooperate. Subsequently charges were dropped(and Chen returned to work) because we as Americans value the right to privacy over finding out what was on Mr. Chen's laptop. It's not racist, and it's ironic you paint it that way given the modern day holocaust happening in China right now.

Income subsidies for people in need is a nice thought, but isn't the bigger problem that we keep buying shit made with slave labor in China? We live in a global market, and as long as we keep supporting hucksters abroad it's no surprise things are stagnating at home.
